It is Showdown Saturday across the nation in the ACC, Mountain West and the West Coast Conference with a trio of interesting matchups.

The first game pits the No.11 Louisville Cardinals on the road against the No. 3 Duke Blue Devils. Next up, the Nevada Wolf Pack travel to the West Coast to face the undefeated No. 7 San Diego State Aztecs. The nightcap on the West Coast sends the BYU Cougars on the road to tangle the No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs.

Louisville started ACC play with a stunning 78-65 loss to Florida State as a 6 ½-point home favorite. Since then, the Cardinals (14-3) have reeled off a trio of straight-up wins capped off by Tuesday’s 73-68 overtime road victory against Pittsburgh. They could not cover the six-points to fall to 1-4 against the spread over their past five games. They are 8-9 ATS overall and the total has gone OVER in three of their last five contests. Junior guard Jordan Nwora has led the way with 20.4 points per game with 7.4 rebounds. Louisville is averaging 74.6 PPG.

Tuesday’s shocking 79-72 loss to Clemson as a 10-point road favorite snapped Duke’s SU nine-game winning streak. The Blue Devils (15-2 SU, 9-8 ATS) are now 6-4 ATS over that same span. The total has gone OVER in three of its last four outings. The Blue Devils are sixth in the nation in scoring with 83.1 PPG. Freshman center Vernon Carey Jr. tops the list with 17.6 points and 8.5 rebounds a game. He scored 20 points in the loss to Clemson.

Nevada (11-7 SU, 9-9 ATS) is 4-2 SU in conference play after sneaking past Wyoming 68-67 on Tuesday as a heavy 14-point home favorite. This followed a pair of road losses to San Jose State and Utah State in the Wolf Pack’s previous two outings. They are 1-4 ATS in their last five games with the total staying UNDER in four of their last six contests. Jalen Harris had the hot hand on Tuesday with 20 points. The junior guard is the team’s leading scorer with 18.4 PPG.

With Tuesday’s 64-55 victory against Fresno State, the Aztecs are the only remaining undefeated team in the nation at 18-0 SU. They covered as eight-point road favorites to improve to 4-0 ATS over their last four games as part of an overall record of 12-5 against the closing number. The total stayed UNDER 127 points against Fresno State after going OVER in four of San Diego State’s previous five games. The Aztecs are averaging 75.2 PPG and they have the fifth-best defense in the country in points allowed (56.9).

BYU’s lone conference loss against three wins came against St. Mary’s in a tight 87-84 overtime setback as a six-point road underdog. The Cougars (14-5 SU, 12-6 ATS) are 8-1 both SU and ATS over their past nine games. The total has gone OVER in four of their last six contests. Zac Seljaas scored a season-high 21 points in Saturday’s 26-point rout of Portland. In Tuesday’s 93-70 romp over San Diego, Kolby Lee led the way with 21 points as well.

The top-ranked Bulldogs improved to 5-0 SU in the WCC with Thursday’s 104-54 victory against Santa Clara as heavy 20-point home favorites. This extends their SU winning streak to 11 games. They are 7-4 ATS during this run after covering in their last three contests. The lone loss this season against 18 wins was at the hands of Michigan back on Nov. 29. The total has now gone OVER in 12 of Gonzaga’s last 14 games. The team is averaging 88.7 PPG as the second-highest scoring team in the nation.
