With Sunday’s 64-56 road loss to Rutgers, Minnesota is an even 4-4 straight-up in Big Ten play and 10-8 overall. It failed to cover as a 5 ½-point underdog to slip to 2-3 against the spread over its last five games. The total stayed UNDER 129 ½ points in Sunday’s loss after going OVER four of the Gophers’ previous five games. They won the first meeting against Ohio State 84-71 on Dec. 15 closing as 7 ½-point home underdogs.

Sophomore guard Marcus Carr scored 35 points in that game. He was held to eight points in the recent loss to Rutgers.

The Buckeyes (12-6 SU, 10-8 ATS) were held to fewer than 60 points in four of their last six outings with the total staying UNDER in all four of those games.
