Arizona State ran its current straight-up winning streak to four games with Thursday’s 74-69 road victory over Stanford. It covered as a 2 ½-point underdog to improve to 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 games. The Sun Devils are 7-4 SU in Pac-12 play and 16-8 overall. Utah is 14-10 SU with a 5-7 record in conference play. One of the early setbacks on Jan. 4 was a 69-64 road loss to Oregon as a 4 ½-point underdog. More recently, the Utes lost to Oregon State 70-51 on Thursday as a five-point road underdog. This followed wins at home (SU and ATS) against Stanford and Cal as a favorite. They are 5-2 ATS over their past seven games with the total staying UNDER in all seven contests.

There are four players averaging at least nine points a game led by sophomore forward Timmy Allen (17.9 point). Utah is averaging 71.5 PPG.
