The 15th ranked Wisconsin Badgers enter this matchup after losing to Rutgers at home 65-73. The Badgers shot just 21.1 3PT% while allowing Rutgers to shoot 58.3% from beyond the arc. Prior to the loss, Wisconsin had won two in a row, one of those wins coming against Michigan State on the road. The Badgers are currently 3rd in the Big 10 with a conference record of 10-4, just one game back from the first place Illinois Fighting Illini.

The Indiana Hoosiers lost on the road to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday 61-76. The Hoosiers have now lost a season high of three straight games. Seven of Indiana’s eight losses have come against Big 10 opponents. This is a streaky basketball team that hasn’t quite found a consistent rhythm. They have quality wins against Purdue and Ohio State, but also have losses to Penn State and Northwestern. If the Hoosiers are able to find some consistency, they could become a dangerous team down the stretch.

I like Indiana to get their offensive groove back in this one. This could be the game that sparks the end of the season the run that they so desperately need. The Hoosiers were able to get out to a 17-point lead in the first meeting, but loss because of an extremely poor second half. I think they show up for the entire 40 minutes this time around, and get the win plus cover. Taking the Hoosiers at –3.
