GAME DAY UPDATE: With 75 minutes until kickoff, Georgia is laying 4.5 points in BetMGM's college football Week 12 odds. That represents a low point reached this morning, after the Bulldogs opened -6.5, went to -6 Monday and returned to -6.5 Thursday.
But the number dipped to UGA -5.5/-4.5 this morning. Still, action is tilted toward the home favorite tonight.
"It's 2/1 money in favor of Georgia, on the spread and moneyline," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said. "If favorites keep winning today, then we will need Texas outright.
"On the total, it's the same, in favor of the Over."
BetMGM's total is at 49.5, where it's been since Thursday, after opening at 48.5, dipping to 47.5 Monday and rebounding to 48.5 Tuesday.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: As of 1:30 p.m. ET Thursday, Georgia is 6.5-point chalk in DraftKings Sportsbook's college football odds Week 12 market. That matches Saturday's opener, though the line spent the first half of the week at Bulldogs -6, before returning to -6.5 Thursday morning.
Georgia is netting 62% of early spread bets, but early spread money is running dead even.
DraftKings' total is at 49.5, again matching the opener, after getting as low as 46.5 Monday afternoon. The Over is seeing 60% of bets/67% of money so far.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: The road underdog is getting early attention in Borgata Sports' college football Week 12 odds.
"We opened the Bulldogs as 6.5-point favorites and have seen mostly early Texas money at that number. We are now at Georgia -6," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday evening. "Texas has definitely had their issues on the road this season.
"But both teams' offenses have looked better lately. If Georgia can get this win, it will put the pressure on Alabama and Texas A&M to win out in the SEC."
The total is down to 47.5 from a 48.5 opener.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Georgia (8-1 SU/4-5 ATS) enters Week 12 on a five-game win streak (4-1 ATS). The Bulldogs trailed Mississippi State 7-3 in the first quarter, but scored the next 31 points and rolled to a 41-21 victory giving 9.5 points on the road.
Texas (7-2 SU/2-7 ATS) is on a four-game win streak, but is 1-3 ATS in those outings, failing to cover in its last three games. The Longhorns had a bye in Week 11, after fending off Vanderbilt 34-31 as a 3.5-point home favorite in Week 10.
Texas led Vandy 34-10 entering the fourth quarter and nearly gave it away, allowing three touchdowns before holding on to win.
Circa opened Texas-Georgia at Bulldogs -5 and sped to -6.5 within minutes Sunday. After about 20 minutes, Georgia dipped to -6, then resettled at -6.5. The total was also on the move right away, too, going from 49.5 to 47.5.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With 35 minutes until kickoff, Alabama is 6.5-point chalk at The SuperBook, which is dealing -105 juice on both sides in college football Week 12 odds. The Crimson Tide opened -7, went to -6.5/-6 Monday and bottomed out at -5.5 Tuesday.
Alabama then spent much of the week at -6 before going to -6.5 this afternoon.
"Sharp money on the 'dog at +7 and +6.5. But very lopsided ticket count. The public is on Alabama," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "It's a well-bet game, pretty good handle.
"We're gonna need Oklahoma, but it's not a huge decision. There are a few bigger bets on Oklahoma."
The total is at 46, up from a 45.5 opener and down from a 46.5 high point. Murray said there's not much of a decision on the total.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: Alabama has been pinned to -6 since Monday evening in DraftKings' college football odds Week 12 market. All the movement came early, with the Crimson Tide opening -7 Sunday and dropping to -6.5/-6 Monday.
That said, it's high Tide early on the spread, at 73% of tickets and money, as of 1 p.m. ET Thursday.
DK's total is at 45.5, matching the opener number, with a short stretch Monday at 46.5. The Over is taking 77% of tickets/58% of money early on.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports drew some action shortly after opening Alabama -7 in college football Week 12 odds.
"We took early respected money on the 'dog at +7 and moved to Alabama -6.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday evening. "The Sooners are coming off a bye. The last time we saw them in action, they forced three turnovers and beat Tennessee.
"They probably won’t be able to rely on creating turnovers against Alabama, as the Crimson Tide are among the best in college football in turnovers. Case in point: QB Ty Simpson has only thrown one interception this season."
The Sooners already have two losses, so this matchup is make-or-break.
"With a loss here, Oklahoma will definitely be out of the playoff conversation," Gable said.
The total opened at 46.5 and is at 45.5 Monday evening.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Alabama (8-1 SU/6-3 ATS) is on an eight-game win streak (6-2 ATS) since a stunning upset loss at Florida State in Week 1. The Crimson Tide kept rolling in Week 11 with a 20-9 victory over LSU as 10-point home favorites.
Oklahoma (7-2 SU/5-4 ATS) is coming off a bye, after a stretch in which it met three ranked teams in four weeks. The Sooners lost the first two of those three games, on neutral turf vs. Texas and at home vs. Ole Miss.
But Oklahoma went to Tennessee in Week 10 and notched a 33-27 victory catching 3 points.
Circa Sports opened Oklahoma-'Bama at Crimson Tide -6.5 and quickly went to -7 Sunday.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With 25 minutes until kickoff, Duke is laying 5 points at The SuperBook. The Blue Devils opened -6.5 on Sunday, then made their way down to -3.5 by Friday night. But the number went to Duke -4/-4.5/-5.5 earlier today and just dipped to -5 minutes ago.
"This is a well-bet game. Sharps groups both ways, dueling sharp groups, took 6.5 and 5 with Virginia and laid 4 and 4.5 with Duke," SuperBook VP John Murray said. "We'll need the underdog, but not huge."
The total is at its peak of 60, after opening at 58 and bottoming out at 57.5 early in the week. Murray said that decision is not a concern.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: This line continues to move toward the road 'dog, with Duke down to a 4-point home chalk at DraftKings. The Blue Devils opened -7 and made multiple trips to -6.5/-5.5 before getting to -4.5/-4 Wednesday, and the number remains -4 as of 1 p.m. ET Thursday.
One reason for that movement: Speculation that Virginia QB Chandler Morris will play this week, though he's been in concussion protocol after exiting early in the Cavaliers' Week 11 home loss to Wake Forest.
Early point-spread betting splits show interest in both sides at DK, with 60% of tickets on Virginia/66% of money on Duke.
The total just went to 59.5 (Under -115), after opening 59.5 flat, bottoming out at 57.5 Monday morning and spending the past couple days at 58.5. The Over is drawing 59% of tickets/67% of money.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Duke opened and remains a 6.5-point favorite in Borgata Sports' Week 12 college football odds.
"The loss of quarterback Chandler Morris for Virginia looms over this game, in what is essentially a loser leaves town match for the ACC. Both teams are coming off of costly losses last week," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.
Morris is still being evaluated after taking a hit to the head/neck area that forced him out of the Week 11 loss vs. Wake Forest.
Borgata's total is stable at 58.5.
"It’s a high total in this one, and it could certainly turn into a shootout, with the lack of consistency these defenses have displayed," Gable said.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Entering Week 11, Virginia (8-2 SU/6-4 ATS) controlled its destiny in the ACC. Not anymore. The Cavaliers closed as 6.5-point home favorites vs. Wake Forest and managed just three field goals while tumbling outright 16-9.
Virginia also lost QB Chandler Morris after he took a hit to the head/neck area. Chandler is still being evaluated, and his status for Week 12 is uncertain. The Cavaliers are in a four-way tie atop the ACC with a 5-1 conference record.
Duke (5-4 SU/4-5 ATS) is actually still in the ACC hunt, despite its middling overall record, because it's 4-1 in conference play. In Week 11, the Blue Devils went to UConn as 7.5-point favorites and left with a 37-34 upset loss.
Duke gave up a touchdown with 1:58 remaining, then drove to UConn's 39-yard line before fumbling the ball away with 18 seconds left.
With Virginia possibly minus Morris, Circa Sports opened Duke as 6-point home chalk in its college football odds Week 12 market. Shortly thereafter on Sunday, the Blue Devils advanced to -6.5.
Notre Dame vs. Pittsburgh Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pittsburgh vs
Notre Dame | +13.5 (-115)
-13.5 (-105) | o55.5 (-110)
u55.5 (-110) | +370 -455 |
- Opening point spread: Notre Dame -11
- Opening moneyline: Notre Dame -420/Pittsburgh +340
- Opening total: Over/Under 58.5 points scored
- Time: Noon ET Saturday (ABC)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Two hours before kickoff, Notre Dame is laying 12.5 points in BetMGM's college football odds Week 12 market. In fact, the spread has been at 12.5 since Wednesday morning, after opening Irish -10.5 and going to -11.5 Tuesday morning.
In mobile/online wagering at BetMGM, spread tickets are running dead even, while 74% of spread money is on Notre Dame.
The total is at 54.5, where's been since Thursday, after opening at 56.5 and spending the first half of the week at 55.5. Still, the Over is seeing 74% of tickets/83% of money.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: The Fighting Irish reached their peak so far of -12.5 on Wednesday morning at DraftKings Sportsbook. That's where the number remains in college football week 12 odds, as of 1 p.m. ET Thursday.
It's two-way action so far on the spread, with 53% of early bets on Pitt/57% of early money on Notre Dame.
DraftKings' total is going the other direction, down to 55.5 from a 57.5 opener. In fact, it stood at 54.5 from Monday evening into Tuesday morning. Still, 73% of bets/72% of dollars are on the Over.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Notre Dame opened and remains 10.5-point road chalk in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 12 market, as of 6 p.m. ET Monday
"No change in the spread, but we have seen some early recreational money on Notre Dame, laying the 10.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Irish were able to cover the big number Saturday against Navy, but this will certainly be a step up on the road vs. a ranked Pitt team.
"And Notre Dame knows it needs to win, to keep a potential at-large spot in the CFP and possibly gain some style points in the process."
Borgata's total has already moved off the 56.5 opener.
"We took respected money on the Under and have since gone to 55.5," Gable said.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Notre Dame (7-2 SU/4-4-1 ATS) is on cruise control to a College Football Playoff bid, currently sitting No. 10 but likely this week to go to at least No. 9. In Week 11, the Fighting Irish hammered Navy 49-10 laying a massive 39.5 points.
Notre Dame is on a seven-game win streak (4-2-1 ATS). In Week 12, the Irish have a chance to further muddy the ACC's championship and CFP pictures.
Pittsburgh (7-2 SU and ATS) is on a 5-0 SU and ATS tear, staying in contention in the ACC. The Panthers had a bye in Week 11 after topping Stanford 35-20 as 13.5-point road favorites.
Circa Sports, whose opening odds often generate immediate sharp action, pegged Notre Dame as 11-point road chalk in college football Week 12 odds. Within minutes Sunday, the line went to -10, then settled at -10.5. The total also quickly adjusted, from 58.5 to 56.5.
