College football odds for Week 3 are on the board and receiving plenty of attention as we tackle all the major storylines of the weekend. The South Carolina Gamecocks and Georgia Bulldogs meet at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia on Saturday, September 16 at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

South Carolina vs No. 1 Georgia Odds

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET SATURDAY: TwinSpires opened the Bulldogs as healthy 27-point faves, went to -27.5 and is now back at the -27 opener. It's two-way play with a lean toward Georgia, at 57% of tickets/59% of money.

The total is down to 53.5 from a 55 opener, with 62% of tickets on the Over/65% of money on the Under.

"Sharp play on Under 55," TwinSpires' Zachary Lucas said.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: On Sunday, BetMGM pegged Georgia a 26.5-point favorite in the college football odds Week 3 market. The Bulldogs advanced to -27.5 (-115) Thursday and are now -27.5 flat.

Spread ticket count is almost dead even, but 78% of spread money is on Georgia.

“It’s all Dawg money in Athens, as we need South Carolina to cover against the Georgia Bulldogs," BetMGM trader Seamus Magee said.

Not surprisingly, people are taking fliers on South Carolina moneyline +1800. Tickets and money are running 4/1 on the Gamecocks.

BetMGM's total opened and remains 54.5, with tickets and money in the 2.5/1 range on the Over.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET MONDAY: Week 3 marks Georgia's toughest test of the season so far, but it's not expected to be that tough, with the Bulldogs laying nearly four touchdowns. In Week 2, the Dawgs (2-0 SU, 1-1 ATS) breezed past Ball State 45-3, narrowly cashing as 42.5-point faves.

South Carolina (1-1 SU and ATS) took care of FCS foe Furman 47-21 as a 17.5-point Week 2 chalk.

Caesars Sports initially moved Georgia from -27 to -26.5, then went to -27.5 this morning, before resettling at the -27 opener.
