The annual battle between these two armed service branches comes early this year. Air Force is coming into this game with an 1-0 record after a very one sided 35-14 win over Lafayette. Navy is coming in 0-1 after a disappointing 49-7 loss to Marshall. Both of these teams are going to do what they always do, run the ball until they can't possibly run the ball anymore. This is going to be an old school game with lots of battles at the line and running plays designed for everyone on the team.

I'm not going to waste any more of your time getting to the pick, Air Force -5.5 -110 on PointsBet. Air Force crushed Navy 40-7 last season and should see a similar outcome this year. Last week Navy had four different players attempt to throw at least one pass, and all that resulted in was 5-of-16 with 61 yards and two interceptions. Both of these teams play the exact same type of game; the only difference is that Air Force is seemingly doing it much better this year. Navy is coming into this game losing six straight, 1-5 ATS in those games.

The Under is always in consideration in these armed service games. Air Force is coming in with a very good defense and they are clearly gonna know the Navy gameplan, running the ball isn't a secret. After last year's 40-7 situation I'm personally gonna stay off the under, ignoring how tempting it is. These rivalry games are always crazy but I feel good about the Air Force here.

It's hard to go back far and take past trends in this matchup considering how Navy has been playing this team. While the historical data would normally tell you that these games stay extremely close, and to always side with the underdog and under total, I'm scared away. Maybe iIm wrong for not trusting the history, but Navy looks lost right now. After gaining some good momentum in Week 1, the Falcons should roll through town and keep that winning streak going on Saturday.
