Ahead of the 61st Academy Of Country Music Awards, VegasInsider has collected a list of records that could be broken at the 2026 ACMs.

To highlight a few of the records that could be broken:

1. Miranda Lambert could extend her record as the most awarded individual in the history of the ACMs - she has won 38 awards and she could win up to 6 awards at the 2026 ACM Awards.

2. Chris Stapleton could break the record of George Strait and become the male solo artist with the most ACM Awards won - Strait has won 24 awards while Stapleton has won 21 awards and he could win up to 5 awards at the 2026 ceremony, which could bring his new total to 26, thus breaking Strait’s record.

3. Brooks & Dunn could extend their record as the most awarded duo in the history of the ACM Awards - they have won 31 awards and they are nominated in the Best Duo of the Year category, which could be their 32nd award.

4. Lainey Wilson could join Carrie Underwood and become only the second woman to ever win 3 times in the Entertainer Of The Year category and the first woman to ever win in three consecutive years - Underwood won in 2009, 2010 and 2020 while Wilson won in 2024 & 2025.

4. Luke Combs is missing only the Entertainer of the Year trophy to achieve a rare feat of winning New Male Artist, Male Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, which could change in 2026 since he is nominated in the Entertainer category.

5. Ella Langley & Riley Green (nominated in 2026 for “Don’t Mind If I Do”) could become only the second set of collaborators to ever win in consecutive years in the Music Event Of The Year category, joining Tim McGraw & Faith Hill after winning last year for “You Look Like You Love Me”.

6. Multiple artists have a chance to break or tie the record for the most ACM Awards won in one night, which is currently shared by Chris Stapleton (2016), Faith Hill (1999) & Garth Brooks (1991) who each won 6 ACM Awards in one night: Megan Moroney (could win up to 7 awards and break the record), Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley & Miranda Lambert (could win up to 6 awards each and tie the record) - as a side note, Moroney, Wilson, Langley & Lambert are all nominated in the Song of the Year category where they could potentially receive the ACM both as a songwriter and the artist, which is part of their potential count.
