Betting on the Colorado Rockies

Colorado has a strong reputation for both college and professional sports. Major League Baseball is well represented by the Colorado Rockies as a mainstay in the league’s National League West.

More recently, the Rockies have grown to become fan-favorites for betting on the games at Colorado sportsbooks.

The Rockies went back to the playoffs in 2009 to close out the decade on a strong note. More recently, they earned a spot in the 2017 and 2018 MLB postseason.

A few of the more notable players to spend time on the Colorado roster include Todd Helton, Troy Tulowitzki and Matt Holiday.

Heated rivalries against the Dodgers and Giants continue to highlight regular season play. You could also add the Arizona Diamondbacks to that list as another MLB western expansion team in the late 1990’s.

That means that most of the money is bet on the OVER on the combined score. If the total line was set at 10 runs, a 6-5 Rockies’ win would pay off big for Colorado bettors.

The Colorado Rockies formed a partnership with DraftKings in September of 2020. This agreement covered all the bases with DraftKings becoming an official sports betting and daily fantasy sports partner of the team.

In March of 2021, the Rockies added another sports betting partner with a multi-year agreement with Betfred Sports. This deal includes branding opportunities at the team’s home ballpark, Coors Field. The two parties will also collaborate on a variety of fan-related promotions for Rockies’ games.
