NBA Playoffs Player Props for Monday, May 2
Prop betting expert Stuart Durst gives his top prop bets to consider for NBA Playoffs action on Monday, May 2. Check out his top play for the hardwood action below.
- Dorian Finney-Smith (DAL) Over 1.5 3PM/Over 3.5 Rebounds (-115) at DraftKings
- Reggie Bullock (DAL) Over 1.5 3PM/Over 0.5 Steals (+105) at DraftKings
- Jimmy Butler (MIA) Over 0.5 3PM/Over 0.5 Steals (-120) at DraftKings
Dorian Finney-Smith (DAL) Over 1.5 3PM/Over 3.5 Rebounds
\I absolutely love attacking these perimiter shooters for Dallas. DFS was extremely reliable, both with Luka and without Luka on the court, and ended up playing more minutes than any other Maverick in round 1 (AVG 43.3). DFS was 6/6 on 2+ 3PM in round 1, shooting 39.9% from beyond the arc. With Luka in the lineup, he saw increased volume, going 4-9, 3-7, and 3-8 in those games. Playing with one of the elite scorers in the NBA is gonna create some pretty nice shots for him. As for rebounds, its pretty hard to play 43+ minutes a game and not stumble upon 4 rebounds to be honest. DFS averaged 6.3 rebounds per game in rebound 1, with 4+ in every game. I also like over 2.5 3PM at + money.

Reggie Bullock (DAL) Over 1.5 3PM/Over 0.5 Steals
Speaking of the Dallas perimeter attack, let's bet on Reggie to stay consistent. Just like DFS, Bullock saw a crazy workload in round 1, averaging 42+ minutes per game. His aggressive defense and reliable 3-point shooting has been important, and with Luka Doncic dealing with DPOY candidate Mikal Bridges all game, I expect him to get continue 3-point opportunities. In round 1 he had 2+ 3PM in 6/6 games, 3+ in 5/6 games, and shot 41.1 from beyond the arc. He also averaged 1.5 steals per game, with a steal in 5/6 games in round 1. Im expecting plenty of 8+ attempts once again, also like his 2.5 3PM at -110.
Jimmy Butler (MIA) Over 0.5 3PM/Over 0.5 Steals
New series and I'm surprised we're still getting this number at solid odds. Butler had 1+ 3PM in 4/4 games in round 1, averaging 4 attempts per game. This is quite simple, when the pressure builds, we see that Jimmy Butler is a clutch shooter. While I would never bet this in the regular season, when the pressure builds, Butler rises to the occasion. As for the steal, thats easy. Butler had 2+ steals in 4/4 games last series, and now gets a James Harden led Philly team, sign me up.
