Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lions vs
Buccaneers | -6 (-108)
+6 (-112) | o54.5 (-105)
u54.5 (-115) | -265 +225 |
- Opening point spread: Lions -5.5
- Opening moneyline: Lions -240/Buccaneers +200
- Opening total: Over/Under 53.5 points scored
- Time: 7 p.m. ET Monday (ABC/ESPN)
GAME DAY LATE UPDATE: An hour before kickoff, Detroit is 6-point chalk at BetMGM. That's where the line has been since moving off Lions -5.5 (-115) Saturday evening. Eight days ago, Detroit opened -5.5 flat, and the line bottomed out at -4.5 last Monday.
On Tuesday, the spread returned to Lions -5.5. While Detroit is certainly popular on straight bets – keep in mind that the Lions are 39-14-1 ATS in their last 54 games – it's parlays that are the bigger concern.
"Lots of last-leg parlays are going into at least one of the faves tonight. So we are screaming for one of the Bucs or Texans," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said, noting an outright upset is most preferred.
BetMGM's total has seen a 1.5-point surge just today, going from 52.5 to 53, then to 54. In digital action (mobile/online), the Over is getting hammered to the tune of 86% of tickets/91% of money.
GAME DAY EARLY UPDATE: With the Buccaneers' wideout troops still a key question mark, the Lions are 6-point favorites in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 7 market. Detroit opened -5.5 eight days ago and initially backed up to -4.5 last Monday.
But the line has been Lions -5.5/-6 most of the past week. The latest move came Saturday, from -5.5 to -6.
Bucs running back Bucky Irving (foot) is out, as is wideout Chris Godwin (fibula). Fellow wideouts Mike Evans and Emeka Egbuka are questionable with hamstring injuries.
Still, as of 2 p.m. ET, Tampa Bay is seeing 56% of spread bets at DraftKings, while Detroit is getting 68% of spread money.
The total has spent most of the week at 53.5. The Over is attracting 76% of bets/82% of money.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: This point spread has done a little back-and-forth in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 7 odds.
"The Lions opened as 5.5 point favorites prior to their loss on Sunday night," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Tampa continues to rack up the wins behind Baker Mayfield, who in my opinion should be the favorite for MVP right now.
"It’s been early Tampa money, and the spread dipped to Detroit -4.5 before moving back to -5.5."
Borgata's total is at 52.5 from a 53.5 opener.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Detroit (4-2 SU and ATS) couldn't keep pace with Kansas City in the Sunday night game. The Lions lost 30-17 as 2.5-point road underdogs, ending a four-game SU and ATS win streak.
Still, it's worth pointing out that Detroit has been a point-spread ATM for bettors since the middle of the 2022-23 season. The Lions are 41-13 SU/39-14-1 ATS in their last 54 games.
Prior to the Lions-Chiefs game, The SuperBook opened Bucs-Lions at Detroit -5.5. On Monday morning, that number adjusted to Lions -4.5.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Detroit (4-1 SU and ATS) is in the midst of its Week 6 assignment right now, playing at Kansas City in the Sunday night game.
Tampa Bay (5-1 SU/4-2 ATS) continues to impress behind Baker Mayfield. The Buccaneers were in a back-and-forth battle with San Fran well into the third quarter, but pulled away for a 30-19 victory giving 3.5 points at home.
Before Lions-Chiefs kicked off, The SuperBook opened Bucs-Lions at Detroit -5.5. There was no early movement, and Bucs-Lions was taken off the board once Lions-Chiefs kicked off. Bucs-Lions will go back up Monday morning.
"This is a fun matchup. Baker Mayfield is as dangerous as any player in the league," SuperBook VP John Murray said.

Houston Texans vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seahawks vs
Texans | -3 (-112)
+3 (-108) | o41.5 (-110)
u41.5 (-110) | -166 +140 |
- Opening point spread: Seahawks -3
- Opening moneyline: Seahawks -165/Texans +145
- Opening total: Over/Under 41.5 points scored
- Time: 10 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN)
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Seattle opened -3 and is now -3.5 in Borgata Sports' NFL odds Week 7 market, as of 5:30 p.m. ET Wednesday.
"The Seahawks continue to keep pace in a tough NFC West and have seen their division odds shorten to 3/1. They certainly have taken the early money in this game, both on the spread and on the moneyline," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.
"The total, not surprisingly, has dropped from the opener of 42 to 41, with two of the better defenses squaring off here."
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Seattle (4-2 SU and ATS) rebounded nicely from a tough home loss to Tampa Bay in Week 5. The Seahawks went to Jacksonville as 1-point favorites and exited with a 20-12 victory.
Houston (2-3 SU and ATS) is coming off its bye, following a get-right game against unright Baltimore, which was minus Lamar Jackson. The Texans, laying 2.5 points on the road, throttled the Ravens 44-10.
On Sunday night, The SuperBook opened Texans-Seahawks at Seattle -3 in the NFL odds Week 7 market. There's been no movement in the early going.

- Opening moneyline: 49ers -160/Falcons +140
- Opening total: Over/Under 45 points scored
- Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Less than two hours before kickoff, the Niners are 1-point home favorites in BetMGM's NFL Week 7 odds. A week ago, San Francisco opened -3 (-115), and the line dipped to -2.5/-2 Tuesday.
Since Friday, the number has mostly been 49ers -1.5, but it dipped to -1 at 3 p.m. ET today. All that movement noted, action is light on this matchup.
"There is really not much in it, to be honest," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said, while noting the Falcons are seeing sharp play.
BetMGM's total is at 46.5, up from a 44.5 opener, but down from the 47.5 high of Tuesday and Saturday. Davis said per usual, the book wants the Under.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: San Francisco remains injury-riddled, with QB Brock Purdy and wideouts Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall questionable for Week 7. Borgata Sports opened the 49ers as 3-point home favorites.
"The Niners continue to struggle with injuries and overall health," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Wednesday night. "The Falcons are off an upset win at home against the Bills. With Atlanta's win, the Niners are now down to -2, and money is coming in on the Falcons."
The total is a bigger mover at Borgata, out to 47.5 from a 44.5 opener
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Atlanta (3-2 SU and ATS) climbed above .500 in a Week 6 Monday night game against Buffalo. The Falcons notched a modest upset as 3.5-point home underdogs, winning 24-14.
The SuperBook opened Falcons-Niners at San Fran -3 Sunday night, then took the game off the board once Bills-Falcons kicked off Monday. Falcons-49ers went back up this morning at San Francisco -3 (even) and was bet down to -2.5/-2 within a couple hours.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: San Francisco (4-2 SU and ATS) lost a big game and another big player. The 49ers, with Mac Jones still subbing for Brock Purdy, fell to Tampa Bay 30-19 as 3.5-point road underdogs.
San Fran star linebacker Fred Warner was lost for the season to a broken/dislocated ankle.
Atlanta (2-2 SU and ATS) still has Week 6 work to do. The Falcons host Buffalo on Monday night.
"We installed the 49ers as -3 favorites here, despite them losing yet another key player," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "They have shown themselves to be a very resilient team. But at some point, it has to become too many injuries."
So far Sunday night, San Fran is stead at -3 in the NFL odds Week 7 market.
Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cowboys vs
Commanders | -1.5 (-112)

- Opening point spread: Commanders -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Commanders -140/Cowboys +120
- Opening total: Over/Under 53.5 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
GAME DAY UPDATE: An hour before kickoff, Dallas is laying 1.5 points at home in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 7 market. This line opened at Commanders -2.5 last Sunday, went to -2 Tuesday, then Friday went to -1 before jumping the fence to Cowboys -1 (-105).
The move to Dallas -1.5 came Saturday afternoon.
"The Cowboys have gotten a lot of love as far as the side and moneyline go. We're gonna need Washington outright," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "The total has seen sharp action, bet up from 53.5 to 54.5. The lookahead line on this was as low as 48.5 during the summer."
LATE WEEK UPDATE: This line just jumped the fence in DraftKings' NFL odds Week 7 market. As of 1 p.m. ET Friday, it's Cowboys -1.5 (even), after opening Commanders -3 and toggling between Washington -2.5/-1.5 a couple times this week.
Both teams are dinged up. Dallas wideout CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is questionable, but said he intends to play, after missing three games. On the flip side, Washington wideout Terry McLaurin (quad) is out Sunday, and fellow receiver Deebo Samuel (heel) is questionable.
The Cowboys are seeing 57% of early spread bets/79% of early spread money at DraftKings.
DK's total is at 54.5 (Under -115), after opening at 54.5 flat and peaking at 55.5 Wednesday. The Over is attracting 65% of bets/73% of money.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Washington (3-3 SU and ATS) is back at .500 after losing the final matchup of Week 5. The Commanders went to Chicago as 5.5-point favorites and fell 25-24 on a field goal as time expired.
That led The SuperBook to make a modest spread adjustment Tuesday to the Commanders-Cowboys line, from Washington -2.5 to -2. Further, the total is up to 55.5, from a 53.5 opener.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Washington (3-2 SU and ATS) still has a Week 6 assignment to complete. The Commanders host Chicago in a Monday night matchup.
Dallas (2-3-1 SU/3-3 ATS) was dealt a modest road upset against oft-overlooked Carolina. The Cowboys were up 17-13 at halftime, and the teams traded the lead throughout the second half. But Dallas, a 3-point road fave, ultimately fell 30-27 on a final-seconds field goal.
The Commanders opened as 2.5-point road faves vs. the Cowboys at The SuperBook. There was no early movement Sunday night.
"We expect fireworks in this one and have a total of 53.5, to go along with the opener of Washington -2.5. Not much action yet," SuperBook VP John Murray said.
Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cardinals vs
Packers | +7 (-108)

u45.5 (-115) | +285 -380 |
- Opening point spread: Packers -6.5
- Opening moneyline: Packers -300/Cardinals +250
- Opening total: Over/Under 44 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
GAME DAY UPDATE: With kickoff 20 minutes out, the Packers are -7 (-105) at BetMGM. Green Bay opened -6.5 last Sunday and has been at some iteration of -7 since Friday night.
In digital wagering (mobile/online), BetMGM is seeing spread tickets and money nearing the 2/1 range on the Packers.
BetMGM's total is at 44.5 (Over -115), but down from Wednesday's 45.5 high point. Ticket count is almost 2/1 on the Over, but money is dead even.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: As of 1 p.m. ET Friday, the Packers are 7-point road favorites in DraftKings' NFL Week 7 odds. Green Bay opened -7.5 (-115) Sunday, then spent Monday through much of Thursday at -6.5 (-115), before going to -7 Thursday afternoon.
The lookahead line on this game was Pack -5.5. Part of the reason it's at a touchdown: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot), who sat out last week, is still questionable this week.
Spread tickets are running 2/1 on the Packers, but spread money is almost even, with a slight lean toward the Cardinals.
The total is at 44.5, up from a 42.5 opener but down from the 45.5 (Under -115) high point of Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Over.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Green Bay (3-1-1 SU/2-3 ATS) couldn't cover a big number, but got the win in Week 6. The Packers were laying 14 points and held off a Cleveland comeback effort in a 27-18 victory.
Arizona (2-4 SU and ATS) was without Kyler Murray in Week 6, yet nearly pulled an upset behind backup Jacoby Brissett. The Cardinals took a 27-24 lead at Indianapolis on a field goal with 9:31 remaining. But Arizona gave up a TD five minutes later and lost 31-27 catching 8.5 points.
Murray has a foot injury, and his Week 7 status is uncertain. As such, The SuperBook opened Green Bay at 6.5-point road chalk, up a point from last week's lookahead line.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chargers vs
Colts | -2.5 (-112)
+2.5 (-108) | o49.5 (-105)
u49.5 (-115) | -142 +120 |
- Opening point spread: Chargers -1.5
- Opening moneyline: Chargers -125/Colts +105
- Opening total: Over/Under 48.5 points scored
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Forty minutes before kickoff, the Chargers are -2.5 (-115) in BetMGM's NFL Week 7 odds. That's the high point this week, with the line arriving there at 1 p.m. ET. Los Angeles opened at -1.5 (even) and spent most of the week at -1.5 flat.
Saturday night brought a move to L.A. -2, then came today's move. At 3 p.m. ET, BetMGM needed the Colts, and preferably outright, citing one-way traffic on the Chargers. But that just changed.
"We just took a couple significant bets on Colts +2.5. It kind of flips the need to Chargers -2.5," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total is painted to 48.5, sticking there all week.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports is moving toward the home side Chargers in its NFL odds Week 7 market.
"We opened this game at pick 'em, although most of the market had the Chargers as a small home favorite. We’ve since moved in that direction, with LA now -1.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Wednesday evening.
The total is steady at 48.5.
"Not much has been written on the total yet, but what has come in has been on the Over," Gable said.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Indianapolis (5-1 SU/4-2 ATS) battled with Arizona throughout a Week 6 tilt, even though the Cards were without QB Kyler Murray. The Colts prevailed 31-27 after a Jonathan Taylor TD with 4:32 remaining, but failed to cover as 8.5-point favorites.
Los Angeles (4-2 SU and ATS) held a 26-13 lead early in the fourth quarter and looked as if it had Miami on the ropes. But the Chargers gave up two touchdowns and trailed 27-26 in the last minute. Cameron Dicker's 33-yard field goal as time expired gave L.A. a 29-27 win as 3.5-point road chalk.
The SuperBook opened Colts-Chargers at L.A. -1.5 and dipped to -1 within about 20 minutes Sunday night. The total is stable at 48.5 in the NFL odds Week 7 market.
New York Giants vs. Denver Broncos Odds
- Opening point spread: Broncos -7.5
- Opening moneyline: Broncos -350/Giants +290
- Opening total: Over/Under 41 points scored
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
GAME DAY UPDATE: The Broncos are up to -8 in BetMGM's Week 7 NFL odds. Denver reached that high point today at 11 a.m. ET, climbing from -7.5. The Broncos opened -7.5 (-105) last Sunday and spent most of the week at various iterations of -7, then returned to -7.5 Saturday evening.
"Denver -7 through -8 has been getting bet a bunch today. We will need the Giants to cover those numbers," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "There are definitely some shot-takers on Giants moneyline. But we'd get enough parlays done to make that a great result."
The total is at 40.5, matching the opener after a Tuesday-Thursday stretch at 40.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: Denver has been at some iteration of -7 almost all week, save for a couple hours Monday at -6.5 (-115). The Broncos opened -7 (-120) are are -7 flat as of 1 p.m. ET Friday.
The Giants appear to be a trendy 'dog at this point, taking 72% of spread tickets/63% of spread money.
After opening at 39.5 (Over -115), the total toggled between 39.5/40.5 at various juice a couple times early in the week. It's been at 39.5 (Over -115) since Wednesday afternoon, with 75% of tickets/79% of cash on the Over.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New York (2-4 SU/3-3 ATS) is coming off a few extra days' rest, after springing an upset in the first game of NFL Week 6. The Giants thumped defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia 34-17 catching 7.5 points at home.
New York led 13-3 early, then trailed 17-13 at halftime. But the G-Men shut out the Eagles in the second half, while rookie running back Cam Skattebo scored three touchdowns.
Denver (4-2 SU/2-4 ATS) wasn't nearly as impressive against the New York Jets, across the pond in London. The Broncos were 7.5-point favorites and narrowly escaped with a 13-11 victory.
Denver got a field goal to take the lead with 5:06 remaining, then had to turn back two Jets drives, one on a punt and the other on downs.
Giants-Broncos opened at Denver -7.5 in The SuperBook's NFL Week 7 odds. After a couple hours Sunday night, the Broncos dipped to -7.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Minnesota Vikings Odds

In digital action (mobile/online), spread tickets are almost 2/1 and spread money 4/1 on Philadelphia at BetMGM. For that matter, the Eagles are No. 1 in spread money among all teams in NFL Week 7.
Moneyline action is similar, with tickets just shy of 2/1 and money approaching 5/1 on the Eagles.
"The Vikings are looking like the biggest need of the early slate. Lots of Philly backers this weekend. Vikings +2 and moneyline would be great for the house," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
BetMGM's total is at 44, which is where it's been since Wednesday, after opening at 42.5 and getting to 43.5 Monday. Ticket count is just short of 2/1 on the Over, but money is almost dead even.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Philly a stone's throw from Atlantic City, so Eagles support is the norm at Borgata Sports. But this line moved toward Minnesota early, from Eagles -2.5 to -2 in Week 7 NFL odds.
"The Eagles have been costly for local bettors the last couple of weeks, with losses to Denver and the Giants," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "But in this game, it was Minnesota taking the early money.
"Early money also came in on the Over for the opening total of 42.5. The total now sits at 43.5."
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Philadelphia (4-2 SU/3-3 ATS) is on a two-game SU and ATS hiccup. In the Week 6 Thursday nighter, the Eagles were 7.5-point favorites at the New York Giants and took a 34-17 upset loss.
Philly led 17-13 at halftime, but didn't score in the second half.
Minnesota (3-2 SU and ATS) is coming off its bye. In Week 5, the Vikings were in London to face Cleveland and got a last-minute touchdown to win 21-17 and cover as 3.5-point favorites.
In The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 7 market, Philadelphia opened -2.5 vs. Minnesota, matching last week's lookahead number.
"I’ll be interested to see how hard the public backs Philly after two losses in a row. But I anticipate us needing the Vikings," SuperBook VP John Murray said Sunday night.

GAME DAY UPDATE: New England is -6.5 (-118) in BetMGM's NFL Week 7 odds, as of noon ET. A week ago, the Patriots opened -6.5 (-115), and the line spent almost all week at -7, before the move this morning to -6.5 (-118).
Earlier this morning, the Patriots were taking more spread tickets than any other team this week. New England is certainly still getting attention, but on game day, so too is underdog Tennessee. So the need has flipped at BetMGM.
"Tennessee is looking like a popular underdog today. The house is gonna need the Pats to cover -7," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said, noting a couple larger Titans bets came in, along with steady action on Tennessee.
The total is at 41.5, dropping from 42 this morning, after opening at 42.5 and making trips to 42 on Tuesday and Saturday. The Over is getting 71% of bets/69% of money.
MIDWEEK ODDS UPDATE: ESPNBET has toggled between Patriots -6.5/-7.5 a couple times this week. As of 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday, New England is -6.5 (-125). Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlay etc.), the Pats are taking 78% of spread tickets/58% of spread money.
The total is at 42.5, up from a 41.5 (Over -115) opener, but down from a very brief Sunday stint at 43.5. The Over is seeing 59% of tickets, while 79% of cash is on the Under, again accounting for all bet types.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New England (4-2 SU and ATS) is on a three-game win streak for the first time since the middle of the 2022 season. In Week 6, the Patriots were 3.5-point favorites at New Orleans and won 26-19.
Tennessee (1-5 SU/2-4 ATS) couldn't build off its stunning upset win of Arizona. The Titans were in a 17-0 hole midway through the third quarter en route to a 20-10 loss as 3.5-point underdogs at Las Vegas.
Pats-Titans opened at New England -6.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 7 market, with no movement so far Sunday night.

BetMGM's total is at 44.5, down from a 45.5 opener and Tuesday's 47.5 high point. The Under is seeing 53% of bets, while money is dead even.
LATE WEEK UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook has been at Chicago -4.5 (-115) since Wednesday afternoon. The Bears opened -5.5, bottomed out at -3.5 (-118) Monday and quickly rebounded to -5.5 (-105).
As of 1 p.m. ET Friday, Chicago is landing 65% of spread bets, but spread money is almost dead even, with actually a slight lean toward New Orleans.
DK's total is at 46.5, up from the 45.5 opener but down from the 47.5 high point. It's two-way play with a lean toward the Under, at 59% of bets/55% of money.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Chicago (3-2 SU and ATS) got an upset win in the final game of Week 5. The Bears were catching 5.5 points at home vs. Washington and won 25-24 on a final-seconds field goal.
Interestingly, the Bears have won two in a row by that exact final score.
On Sunday night, The SuperBook opened Saints-Bears at Chicago -6 and went to -5.5 near midnight ET. Monday afternoon brought moves to Bears -5/-4.5. However, Tuesday morning, in the wake of the Monday night win, Chicago advanced to -5.5.
Also, the total is up to 47.5, from a 45.5 opener.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Chicago (2-2 SU and ATS) isn't yet out of Week 6. The Bears visit Washington in a Monday night game.
New Orleans (1-5 SU/2-4 ATS) was trying to put together consecutive wins for the first time since Weeks 10-11 of last season. But the Saints didn't have enough vs. New England, losing 26-19 as 3.5-point underdogs.
The SuperBook opened Saints-Bears at Chicago -6, with no movement so far Sunday night.
Miami Dolphins vs. Cleveland Browns Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Browns vs
Dolphins | -2.5 (-118)
+2.5 (-102) | o34.5 (-110)
u34.5 (-110) | -142 +120 |
- Opening point spread: Browns -1.5
- Opening moneyline: Browns -145/Dolphins +125
- Opening total: Over/Under 41 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has Cleveland at -2.5 (-115) with 90 minutes to go until kickoff. The Browns opened -1.5 a week ago, advanced to -2.5 in short order and got to -3 Monday afternoon. Cleveland has been at various iterations of -2.5 since Wednesday afternoon.
Spread tickets are running 3/1 and spread money 2.5/1 on the Browns.
This total plunged from a 41.5 opener to this morning's low point of 35, based on the threat of high wind gusts in Cleveland. Rain is in the forecast, along with winds of 20 mph or so.
Ticket count is 5/1 and practically all the money is on the Under.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: The Browns have been at some iteration of -2.5 much of the week in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL Week 7 odds. Cleveland opened -1.5 and made a couple brief trips to -3.
As of 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday, it's Cleveland -2.5 (-115), with spread tickets running almost even, but spread money running 7/1 on the Browns.
It's apparently going to be quite windy Sunday in Cleveland. So this total has plunged to 37.5 (Under -120), from a 41.5 (Over -115) opener. The final 3 points of that move came Thursday. Ticket count is 3/1 on the Under, and practically all the early cash is on the Under, too.
"As always on a Sunday, we'd love some low scoring Unders, with the big names staying out of the end zone. The only total we'd like to see go Over is that Cleveland-Miami game, with some insane wind," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cleveland (1-5 SU/2-4 ATS) sent rookie QB Dillon Gabriel out for his first road start, and it didn't go well. The Browns managed just three field goals in a 23-9 loss as 6.5-point underdogs to Pittsburgh.
Miami (1-5 SU/3-3 ATS) rallied from a 26-23 fourth-quarter deficit, scoring two touchdowns to take a 27-23 lead over the L.A. Chargers in the final minute. But the Dolphins then fell 29-27 on a final-seconds field goal, while covering as 3.5-point home pups.
The Browns opened -1.5 and went to -2 within 30 minutes Sunday night in The SuperBook's NFL Week 7 odds.
Carolina Panthers vs. New York Jets Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jets vs
Panthers | -1.5 (+105)
+1.5 (-125) | o39.5 (-118)
u39.5 (-102) | -112 -108 |
- Opening point spread: Jets -1
- Opening moneyline: Jets -115/Panthers -105
- Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Ninety minutes pre-kick, Carolina is -1.5 (-102) in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 7 market. After opening Jets -1.5 (even), this line jumped the fence to Panthers -1/-2 Monday, then spent most of the week at -1.5, at various juice.
The dip to -1 came at 11:15 a.m. ET today. It's two-way spread play, with 54% of bets on Carolina/54% of spread money on New York.
BetMGM's total is down to 41 from a 44.5 opener, steadily sliding throughout the week. The Under is netting 64% of bets/81% of money.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: The Jets opened -1.5 (even) in ESPNBET's Week 7 NFL odds, but that didn't last long. By early Monday, the line jumped the fence to Panthers -1.5 (+105), and it's been some iteration of Carolina -1.5 ever since.
As of 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday, the Panthers are -1.5 flat while taking 70% of spread bets/73% of spread money.
ESPNBET's total is down to 41.5 (Over -115) from a 44.5 (Under -120) opener. It's been at some version of 41.5 since Monday night. The Over is netting 60% of early bets and practically all the early money.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New York (0-6 SU/2-4 ATS) had a game practically gifted to it in London, but just didn't want to take it. The Jets led Denver 11-10 after recording a third-quarter safety, but lost 13-11 on a a field goal with 5:06 remaining.
New York subsequently had two possessions on which it could've gone ahead, but punted and turned it over on downs.
Carolina (3-3 SU/4-2 ATS) somewhat surprisingly found its way to .500 in Week 6. The Panthers closed as 3.5-point home 'dogs vs. Dallas and won 30-27 on Ryan Fitzgerald's 33-yard field goal as time expired.
The last time Carolina sat at .500 or better was after Week 10 of the 2021 season (5-5 SU).
It's rare that the Jets will be favored this season, but this is one such occasion. The SuperBook opened New York -1 in Week 7 NFL odds, with no movement Sunday night. The total nudged from 45.5 to 45.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jaguars vs
Rams | +3.5 (-118)
-3.5 (-102) | o44.5 (-105)
u44.5 (-115) | +140 -166 |
- Opening point spread: Rams -3
- Opening moneyline: Rams -155/Jaguars +135
- Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
- Time: 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday (NFL Network)
GAME DAY UPDATE: With 35 minutes until kickoff, the Rams are -3 (-115) at BetMGM. In fact, the line has been at some iteration of that number all week, opening Los Angeles -3 (-120) and hitting a low -3 (-102) Monday. It was L.A. -3 flat from Wednesday until Saturday afternoon.
In digital action (online/mobile), BetMGM is seeing 52% of spread bets/64% of spread dollars on the Rams. On the moneyline, it's 65% bets/54% money on the underdog Jaguars.
The total has been at 44.5 since Wednesday, after opening 46.5, going to 45.5 Sunday night and 45 Monday. It's almost dead-even two-way play, at 53% of bets/51% of money on the Over.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Los Angeles hasn't moved off -3 so far in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 7 odds, with both teams flying to London for this clash at Wembley Stadium.
"The early money has mostly been on Jacksonville, but we remain at L.A. -3," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "We saw respected money come in on the Under right away."
The total is down to 44.5 from a 46.5 opener.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Jacksonville (4-2 SU and ATS) didn't get to ride the high of a win over Kansas City for very long. Coming off that Monday night victory, the Jaguars lacked the same offensive punch vs. Seattle, losing 20-12 as 1-point home underdogs.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles (4-2 SU and ATS) did what was expected against a Lamar Jackson-less Baltimore outfit. The Rams won 17-3 giving 7 points on the road, in a humdrum game that had no scoring over the final 24-plus minutes.
Rams-Jags is yet another London game, but this time between two good teams. The SuperBook opened L.A. -3 and hasn't moved Sunday night in Week 7 NFL odds.
"I expect to need Jacksonville. But I don’t see it being as big of a decision as the last few Europe games," SuperBook vice president John Murray said.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Odds
| Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bengals vs
Steelers | +5.5 (-115)
-5.5 (-105) | o45.5 (-102)
u45.5 (-118) | +195 -238 |
- Opening point spread: Steelers -4.5
- Opening moneyline: Steelers TBA/Bengals TBA
- Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday (Prime)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Less than two hours before kickoff, Pittsburgh is laying 5.5 points in BetMGM's Week 7 NFL odds. The Steelers opened -5.5 (-115) Sunday, dipped to -5 a couple times Wednesday and have been at either -5.5 flat or -5.5 (-105) since Wednesday afternoon.
"We will likely want the Bengals tonight. But it's actually closer than I would have thought," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.
The total is up a point just today, going from 44 to 44.5/45, after opening Sunday at 42.5. So no surprise, BetMGM will be looking for the Under in a prime-time standalone game.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports is painted to Steelers -5.5, with no movement so far in its NFL odds Week 7 market.
"It’s been all recreational money on Pittsburgh thus far," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Wednesday evening. "Cincinnati looked better on offense last week with Joe Flacco now at the helm. But the Bengals' offensive line continues to be an issue."
The total is on the rise, up to 44 from a 42.5 opener.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Pittsburgh is a perhaps surprising 4-1 SU/3-2 ATS behind Aaron Rodgers. In Week 6, the Steelers dispatched Cleveland 23-9 laying 6.5 points at home, with Rodgers putting up a clean sheet and two touchdown passes.
Cincinnati (2-4 SU and ATS) had Joe Flacco under center against Green Bay in Week 6, after acquiring him from Cleveland. The Bengals made it interesting by pulling within 24-18 with 4:11 remaining, on a Flacco-to-Ja'Marr Chase TD pass/Flacco-to-Chase 2-point conversion.
The Bengals ultimately lost 27-18, but covered as hefty 14-point underdogs.
On Sunday night, there's already been a little motion with the Steelers-Bengals line in The SuperBook's NFL Week 7 odds.
"The Steelers are up to -5, after a lookahead line of -3.5 and a Sunday night opener of -4.5. We’ll need the Bengals there," SuperBook vice president John Murray said.
