GAME DAY UPDATE: Forty minutes before kickoff, the Rams are -7 (-115) in BetMGM's Week 17 NFL odds, having moved off -7.5 (-105) earlier this evening. Los Angeles opened -8.5 on Dec. 21, fell to -8 within a few hours and spent almost all week at -7.5 flat/-7.5 (-105).

But the line movement isn't indicative of the action.

"It's pretty much one-way traffic. We got some money on the Falcons at +7.5, but at -7 and on the moneyline, it's all Rams. There are still some Rams moneyline and spread parlays live from Sunday, as well. So go Falcons," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total went from 49.5 to 49 earlier this evening, after spending most of the week at the 49.5 opener, then going to 50 on Saturday. Per usual, Davis said the book needs the Under.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: L.A. toggled between -8.5/-7.5 early on in DraftKings' NFL Week 17 odds. The Rams have been pinned to -7.5 (-115) since Tuesday afternoon.

As of 3 p.m. ET Friday, it is all Rams on the spread, at 80% of bets/89% of cash.

DK's total has been at some iteration of 49.5 almost all week, after opening at 48.5 (Over -115). It's now 49.5 (Over -115), with 67% of bets/85% of money on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Los Angeles (11-4 SU/10-5 ATS) was in prime position to keep the NFC's No. 1 seed in Week 16. The Rams took a 30-14 lead on a touchdown early in the fourth quarter at Seattle. But L.A. let the Seahawks back in, getting forced to overtime in a 30-30 tie.

Both teams then put up touchdowns, but the Rams fell 38-37 as 1.5-point underdogs on Seattle's successful 2-point conversion.

Atlanta (6-9 SU and ATS) is on a modest two-game SU and ATS upswing. In Week 16, the Falcons were in early holes of 10-0 and 13-3 at Arizona, but rallied for a 26-19 victory giving 2.5 points.

The SuperBook opened Rams-Falcons at Los Angeles -7.5, with no movement Sunday night. The total saw a modest move, inching from 48.5 to 49.

GAME DAY UPDATE: The Niners are 3.5-point home chalk in BetMGM's Week 17 NFL odds, 90 minutes before kickoff. A week ago, San Francisco opened -3 (-105), very briefly dipped to -2.5 (-118) Monday, then spent most of the week at various iterations of -3.

San Fran has been -3.5 at various juice since Friday evening.

"The weight of the money is on the 49ers, spread and moneyline. There should be a good chunk of live parlays on the 49ers moneyline, too. So for now, go Bears," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is at 51.5, up from a 50.5 opener but down from Tuesday's 52.5 high point and 52 this morning. Davis said BetMGM needs the Under, per usual.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: San Francisco hasn't moved off -3 in Borgata Sports' NFL odds Week 17 market.

It's been good two-way action on both the spread and moneyline," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Bears have clinched a postseason spot, but can literally finish anywhere from the 1 seed to the 7 seed.

"They can clinch the NFC North with a win in this game, and there is no doubt that hosting a playoff game or two in Chicago in January will be a nice advantage. The Niners are also not out of the conversation for the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so this will be a nice matchup between two teams playing very well."

The total is on the rise, climbing to 52.5 from a 50.5 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Chicago (11-4 SU/9-5-1 ATS) pulled off an improbable Week 16 comeback at home vs. Green Bay. The Bears trailed 16-6, but in the final two minutes, got a field goal, recovered an onside kick and scored a touchdown to tie it at 16.

Chicago then forced a fumble on the first possession of overtime and won 22-16 on a 46-yard TD pass from Caleb Williams to D.J. Moore. The Bears also covered as 1.5-point favorites.

San Francisco (10-4 SU and ATS) isn't yet out of Week 16. The 49ers visit Indianapolis on Monday Night Football.

San Fran opened as 3-point home chalk vs. Chicago, and the line is stable Sunday night.

"Not much action yet, but I think this will be a good two-way game like Philly-Buffalo," SuperBook vice president John Murray said.

GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has the Bills -3 (-115) with 80 minutes to go until kickoff. That's a high point for the week, after opening at Buffalo -2.5, sliding to -1 by Wednesday, going to -1.5 Thursday, then to -2.5/-3 today.

"People are taking the Eagles on the moneyline and the Bills on the spread. So it's a middle opportunity for the book," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 45, after opening at 44.5 and dropping to 43.5 early in the week.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Buffalo is a 1-point favorite in Borgata Sports' Week 15 NFL odds, as of 11:30 a.m. ET Wednesday. That's down from the Bills -2 opener and a stint at -1.5 along the way.

"The Eagles are no longer in the running for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. So we will see how many starters play for Philly and for how long. So far, Nick Sirianni is keeping it close to the vest," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.

"The Bills are banking on Josh Allen being available to play, after suffering a foot injury against the Browns last Sunday."

The total went from 44.5 to 43.5 and is now 44.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Buffalo (11-4 SU/7-8 ATS) has won four in a row while continuing to pursue New England in the AFC East. In Week 16, the Bills fended off Cleveland 23-20, well short of covering as 10.5-point road favorites.

Philadelphia (10-5 SU/9-6 ATS) had a sluggish first half at Washington in Week 16, trailing 10-7 at the break. But the Eagles scored the next 22 points – three TDs and a 2-point conversion – and coasted to a 29-18 win laying 7 points.

The SuperBook opened Eagles-Bills at Buffalo -2.5 in NFL Week 17 odds, with no movement Sunday night.

"I think the Bills almost got caught looking ahead to this game today against the Browns," SuperBook VP John Murray said Sunday night. "Eagles-Bills sets up to be a good two-way game."

The total nudged from 45.5 to 45 Sunday night.

GAME DAY UPDATE: The Giants are up to -3 (-102) in BetMGM's NFL Week 17 odds. Most of the movement has come in the last two days, with New York going from -1 to -1.5/-2.5 Friday, then -3 late this morning.

At least a small part of the move stemmed from the Raiders opting to sit star pass rusher Maxx Crosby for the final two games.

"There's much more Giants action. The book wants the Raiders," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Cipollini said.

An hour before kickoff, the total is at 40 (Over -120), after dipping 1.5 points just today. BetMGM opened at 42.5, then went to 42 Monday and 41.5 Tuesday.

Despite the downward movement, Cipollini has said week after week that with same-game parlays, BetMGM is always rooting for the Under.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: This number has toggled around both sides of pick 'em in DraftKings Sportsbook's Week 17 NFL odds. New York opened -1.5 Sunday night, and the line flipped to Las Vegas -1.5 Monday. On Wednesday, it flipped again and settled at Giants -1.5 (even).

New York is taking 60% of early spread tickets, while 70% of early spread dollars are on Las Vegas.

DK's total has been pinned to 41.5 since late Sunday night, after opening at 43.5 and briefly sitting at 42.5. Ticket count is almost even, and 74% of money is on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New York (2-13 SU/7-8 ATS) hung around against Minnesota in Week 16, but ultimately took its ninth straight loss. The Giants fell 16-13 getting 2.5 points at home.

Las Vegas (2-13 SU/6-9 ATS) has also lost nine in a row, though the Silver and Black gave Houston a better-than-anticipated game. The Raiders closed as 14-point road 'dogs and came up just short 23-21.

There was nominal movement in the Giants-Raiders line Sunday night. The SuperBook opened New York -1.5 on the road and went to -1 about 2.5 hours later.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Seattle has been pinned to -7 pretty much all week in BetMGM's Week 17 NFL odds. The Seahawks opened -7.5, went to -7 after about three hours and is now -7 (even), 45 minutes before kickoff.

Interestingly, spread play favors Carolina, at 62% of bets/68% of money.

"It's rare where the 7-point 'dog is not a rooting interest for the book. We're taking more Panthers money. The book wants the Seahawks," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 42.5, with no movement all week, save for a Monday juice adjustment from Over -115 to the flat -110. The Over is getting 73% of bets/81% of cash.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: The Seahawks opened -7.5 in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 17 odds and have spent the first half of the week at -7.

"Seattle needs this game in order to keep its top spot in the NFC," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The NFC South will more than likely be decided in Week 18, when the Panthers face off with Tampa for the second time in three weeks.

"So this game doesn’t have an urgent feel to it for Carolina."

As of 11:30 a.m. ET Wednesday, the total remains painted to 42.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Seattle (12-3 SU/11-4 ATS) has the NFC's No. 1 seed and the league's best spread-covering mark. In Week 16, the Seahawks overcame a 30-14 fourth-quarter deficit, upending the Rams 38-37 in overtime, winning on a 2-point conversion.

That allowed Seattle to overtake L.A. for the top playoff seed.

Carolina (8-7 SU/9-6 ATS) is now in the driver's seat to win the NFC South. In Week 16, the Panthers were 3-point home 'dogs and edged Tampa Bay 23-20 on a late field goal, snapping a tie atop the division.

Seahawks-Panthers opened at Seattle -7 in The SuperBook's NFL Week 17 odds. The line hasn't moved as of late Sunday night.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Jacksonville is a big mover this morning, now down to 4-point home chalk an hour before kickoff, after sitting at -5.5 to begin the day. A week ago, the Jaguars opened -7 (-115) and within a couple hours moved to -6.5, where they remained much of the week.

The Jags moved to -6 Friday and -5.5 Saturday. Contrary to the line move, Jacksonville is taking 76% of spread bets/71% of spread money.

"It's a weird one. There's a lot of movement, but still, most of the public is on the Jags," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

BetMGM's total has been at 48.5 since Tuesday, after opening at 46.5 and spending about 12 hours at 47.5.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: The Jaguars are laying 6 points in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL Week 17 odds, as of 2:30 p.m. ET Friday. Jacksonville opened -6.5 and hit -7 a couple times early in the week, then got as low as -5.5 (-115) Friday morning.

Still, early spread play is heavy to the Jags, at 76% of tickets/80% of money.

DraftKings' total is at its peak of 48.5, after opening at 46.5 and spending time at 47.5. The Under is actually seeing 56% of early tickets, but 81% of early cash is on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Jacksonville (11-4 SU and ATS) is on a well-timed 6-0 SU and ATS tear, with its latest victim the NFL's hottest team. The Jaguars knocked out Denver 34-20 as 3.5-point road underdogs in Week 16, halting the Broncos 11-game win streak.

Indianapolis (8-6 SU and ATS) still has Week 16 work to do. The Colts host San Francisco in the Monday night game.

The SuperBook went ahead and opened Jags-Colts at Jacksonville -6.5 on the road, with no movement Sunday night.

Spread tickets are almost 3/1 and spread money 2/1 on the Steelers.

"The majority of action is coming in on the Steelers. The book will want the Browns," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at a tidy 35.5, the lowest of the day by 4 points. But 35.5 is actually the high point, moving off 34.5/35 this morning, after also opening at 34.5 and spending much of the week at 33.5.

Action is lopsided to the Over, with tickets 6/1 and money 4/1.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: The Steelers are down to -3 (-118) at DraftKings Sportsbook, after opening -4.5 and going to -3.5 Tuesday. Still, Pittsburgh is seeing the hefty majority of early spread play, at 83% of bets/77% of money.

DraftKings' total is at 34.5 (Under -115), down from a 35.5 opener, but up from a 33.5 low point reached multiple times this week. Ticket count is almost even, while 85% of cash is on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Pittsburgh (9-6 SU/9-5-1 ATS) held on for a huge Week 16 win with a crazy ending. The Steelers were 7.5-point 'dogs at Detroit and pulled off a 29-24 upset.

Jaylen Warren had two 45-yard touchdown runs in the fourth quarter to give Pittsburgh a 29-17 lead. But the Steelers hung on in the final minute when Detroit had two touchdowns negated by offensive pass interference penalties.

Cleveland (3-12 SU/6-9 ATS) gave Buffalo a harder test than expected in Week 16. The Browns fell short 23-20 as 10.5-point home underdogs.

The SuperBook opened Pittsburgh -4.5 vs. Cleveland in NFL Week 17 odds, with no movement Sunday night.

Arizona (3-12 SU/6-9 ATS) has lost seven in a row and 12 of its last 13 (5-8 ATS). In Week 15, the Cards had early leads of 10-0 and 13-3 vs. Atlanta, but couldn't maintain in a 26-19 loss catching 2.5 points at home.

DK's total is at its low of 44.5, moving off 45.5 Friday afternoon, from a 46.5 opener. Ticket count is 2/1 on the Over, but money is almost dead even.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Tampa Bay (7-8 SU/5-10 ATS) is a long way from the 6-2 mark it had through eight games. In Week 16, the misery continued as the Bucs lost to Carolina 23-20 giving 3 points on the road. Tampa is on a 1-6 SU/0-7 ATS nosedive.

Miami (6-9 SU/7-8 ATS), with rookie QB Quinn Ewers starting, hung around until halftime against Cincinnati, trailing 17-14. But the Dolphins then gave up the next 28 points in a 45-21 loss as 3.5-point home pups.

Bucs-Dolphins opened with Tampa Bay 4.5-point road chalk in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 17 market. There was no movement Sunday night.

GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has the Saints as 1.5-point road favorites, after opening -3 and spending most of the week at various iterations of -2.5. New Orleans dipped to -1.5 on Saturday.

Still, spread tickets are 3/1 and spread money 2/1 on the Saints.

The total is painted to 39.5, sitting there since Sunday night, a few hours after opening at 38.5 (Over -115). Tickets are almost even, while money is 3/1 on the Over.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: New Orleans is painted to -2.5 (-115) in DraftKings' NFL Week 17 odds, opening there and remaining there at 3 p.m. ET Friday. That's despite early spread tickets running almost 3/1 and early spread money 6/1 on the Saints.

DK's total is at 39.5, matching the opener and up from 38.5/37.5 seen on Sunday night. Tickets and money are in the 1.5/1 range on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New Orleans (5-10 SU/7-8 ATS) was in the rare role of favorite and made it stick in Week 16. The Saints closed -6.5 vs. the hapless New York Jets and rolled to a 29-6 victory.

Tennessee (3-12 SU/7-8 ATS) was the first beneficiary of a Kansas City team without Patrick Mahomes. And without Gardner Minshew, for that matter, as K.C.'s backup QB suffered a knee injury on the first possession of Sunday's game.

The Titans went on to a 26-9 victory as 3-point home underdogs, their second win the last three games.

Saints-Titans opened at New Orleans -3 in The SuperBook's Week 17 NFL odds. That line is stable Sunday night.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With 90 minutes until kickoff, the Packers are -2.5 (-105) in BetMGM's NFL Week 17 odds. In fact, Green Bay just moved off -3 (-102), after opening -2.5 (-115), peaking at -4.5 (-115) Friday, then dropping to -3.5 once Jordan Love was ruled out.

A lot can change between now and game time. But at the moment, BetMGM is looking to split the difference tonight.

"At this stage, Packers by 1 or 2 is our best result. But there's plenty of time for that to change," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is at its low of 38, moving off 38.5 earlier today, after opening at 40.5 and spending literally a few minutes at 39.5 Friday. Still, as Davis notes each week, the Under will be the need for BetMGM tonight, primarily due to action on same-game parlays.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: This game got a couple of jolts Thursday and Friday, one expected, one perhaps a little unexpected.

On Thursday, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was listed as doubtful for this key Saturday night game. That led DraftKings Sportsbook to move the Packers from -3.5 to -4.5 (-120).

However, on Friday afternoon, Green Bay announced that QB Jordan Love (concussion) won't play this week. So the line returned to Pack -3.5, for a matchup of Green Bay's Malik Willis vs. Baltimore's Tyler Huntley.

Back on Sunday night, DraftKings opened the Packers -1.5 and went to -2.5 (-105) in short order, then got to -3 Tuesday and -3.5 Wednesday.

As of 6 p.m. ET Friday, spread play is solidly on the Packers, at 68% of bets/78% of money.

With two backup QBs, the total is at its low point of 38.5 (Over -115). The number opened at 43.5 Sunday evening, then plunged to 40.5 late Sunday night after Jackson's injury. Friday's Love news brought the final two moves, to 39.5/38.5.

Ticket count is almost even, with a slight lean toward the Under, while 61% of money is on the Over.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: This line got a nudge Wednesday morning, from Packers -2.5 to -3 in Borgata Sports' NFL odds Week 17 market. More could be coming, depending on which quarterbacks are under center. Both teams' QBs are banged up (see below).

"There is a lot of uncertainty around the quarterbacks on both sides. This number will change as we get more clarity around the quarterbacks for both teams," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.

The total is stable at 40.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Green Bay (9-5-1 SU/6-9 ATS) snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in Week 16, blowing a 16-6 lead in the waning minutes as 1.5-point underdogs at Chicago.

The Packers gave up a field goal with 1:59 remaining, failed to cover an onside kick, then gave up a touchdown with 24 seconds remaining. That sent the game to overtime tied at 16. Green Bay then fumbled on the opening OT possession and lost 22-16 on a 46-yard D.J. Moore TD catch.

Adding injury to insult, Packers QB Jordan Love exited in the first half with a concussion.

Baltimore (7-7 SU/6-8 ATS) first has to complete its Week 16 task. The Ravens are playing right now against the visiting Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

With Love's status uncertain and Baltimore in the Week 16 Sunday night game, The SuperBook hasn't posted the Ravens-Packers line yet.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Thirty minutes before kickoff, the Chargers are laying 1 point in BetMGM's Week 17 NFL odds. That's down from L.A. -1.5 earlier today and -2 early in the week, after the Bolts opened -1.5 (-105) Sunday.

"We started to see some love for Houston earlier today, and we were gonna need the Chargers -1.5. But that has now changed. A few big wagers came in on L.A., so Houston outright is probably our best result," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is at 41, moving off 40.5 about 90 minutes ago after spending all week at 39.5. But Magee said it's not much of a decision, but with parlays/same-game parlays, BetMGM will want the Under.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: The Chargers are up a tick in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 17 odds, moving from -1.5 to -2 at home. But there is some early interest in the Texans.

"We have seen some early Houston money here, but nothing respected," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Chargers still have a path to a division title, if they can win here and then beat the Broncos in week 18.

"The Chargers have certainly been one of the hotter teams in the NFL the last few weeks, as have the Texans. Houston may have been looking ahead to this game as it struggled with the Raiders last week."

The total is steady at 39.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Houston (10-5 SU and ATS) stretched its winning streak to seven games in Week 16, but got much more fight than expected. The Texans closed as 14-point favorites vs. Las Vegas and eked out a 23-21 victory.

Los Angeles (11-4 SU/9-6 ATS) is on a four-game run, now just a game behind Denver in the AFC West. In Week 16, the Chargers pulled away from Dallas in the second half for a 34-17 victory catching 1.5 points on the road.

"We’re sitting at pick ’em now. Both teams have been playing well lately," SuperBook vice president John Murray said Sunday night.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Thirty minutes before kickoff, the Broncos are -13.5 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 17 market. Early Sunday evening, Denver opened -11.5, and by late Sunday night, the line was out to -13.

The Broncos got to -13.5 this morning, after opening -11.5 (-105) and reaching -13 within a few hours Sunday night. It's reduced juice at BetMGM, so the line is Broncos -13.5 (even)/Chiefs +13.5 (-110).

"With the Vikings holding on, this will be a good day regardless of what happens tonight," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Cipollini said, noting Minnesota's upset of Detroit blew up moneyline parlays on today's favorites. "We have had some support for the Chiefs +13.5."

The total is at 38, a high point reached midafternoon today, off a move from 37.5. BetMGM opened at 38.5 and bottomed out at 36 this morning, so there's been a 2-point climb just today.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: No Patrick Mahomes nor Gardner Minshew at QB for the Chiefs led to an expanding line in Borgata Sports' Week 17 NFL odds.

"That leaves Chris Oladokun to start, and the Broncos are now up to 13-point road favorites, after opening -11.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. The Broncos remain atop the AFC, but if the Chargers beat the Texans this week, then Week 18 will be for the AFC West title."

Denver hosts L.A. in the regular-season finale.

Borgata's total is stable at a tidy 36.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Denver (12-3 SU/6-9 ATS) had its surprising win streak end in Week 16, after 11 consecutive victories. The Broncos tied Jacksonville at 17 early in the third quarter, but gave up the next 17 points in a 34-20 loss giving 3.5 points at home.

Kansas City (6-9 SU/5-10 ATS) continues to see its season circle the drain. A week after losing Patrick Mahomes (torn ACL), backup Gardner Minshew also suffered what's feared to be a torn ACL, on just the third play of the Week 16 game at Tennessee.

The Chiefs went on to a 26-9 loss as 3-point road favorites vs. the lowly Titans. K.C. has dumped four in a row and is 1-6 SU/0-7 ATS in its last seven games. And the Chiefs are now down to third-string QB Chris Oladokun.

"We opened the Broncos -11.5, after seeing the Chiefs' performance today," The SuperBook's John Murray said early Sunday evening. "It’s going to be hard for Kansas City to score with a third-string QB against the Denver defense."

Within a couple hours, the Broncos advanced to -12.5, then Monday morning went to -13.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With 50 minutes until kickoff, the Lions are laying 7.5 points on the road in BetMGM's NFL Week 17 odds. And BetMGM is dealing reduced juice, as well, at Detroit -7.5 (even)/Minnesota +7.5 (-110).

The Lions opened -5.5 Sunday night, went to -6 Monday and -6.5/-7/-7.5 Tuesday. Early this afternoon, the line dipped to Detroit -7, then returned to -7.5.

"If the Cowboys hang on, the Lions will be the second leg of a very popular NFL moneyline parlay. And if not, we would expect bettors to double down on the two remaining faves for the day. So go Vikings," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is 45, down from the 46.5 opener, but up from Wednesday's 43 low point. So the number is up 2 points just today, and Davis said BetMGM once again needs an Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Detroit (8-7 SU/7-8 ATS) has its playoff hopes hanging by an ever-disintegrating thread after a crazy Week 16 loss. The Lions fell to Pittsburgh 29-24 giving 7.5 points at home, their third setback in the last four games.

Detroit had two plays called as touchdowns on their final-minute drive, but both were negated by offensive pass-interference calls. The second one was on fourth-and-goal, with time expiring on the play, as well.

Minnesota (7-8 SU and ATS) is on a three-game SU and ATS run, despite losing QB J.J. McCarthy for the second half of its Week 16 game at the New York Giants. The Vikings got a field goal with 4:15 remaining to clinch a 16-13 win as 2.5-point favorites.

McCarthy suffered an injury to his right (throwing) hand, but X-rays were negative. He's questionable vs. Detroit at the moment, and The SuperBook opened the Lions as 5.5-point road favorites in Week 17 NFL odds.

"It's a game similar to the first game of Christmas Day. The Vikings have a backup QB, and the motivation level is hard to read for Detroit," SuperBook VP John Murray said.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With 30 minutes until kickoff, the Cowboys are 9-point road favorites in BetMGM's Week 17 NFL odds, with -105 juice on both sides. The Cowboys opened -5.5, climbed to -7 by Tuesday and -8.5 by Wednesday evening.

This morning, the line got to Dallas -9. That's heavily due to Washington starting third-string QB Josh Johnson. No surprise, BetMGM needs the home 'dog here, and in fact, in all three Christmas Day games.

"We'll be cheering for the Commanders and every other outsider today. It's a pretty simple day today," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is painted to 50.5, sticking at some iteration of that number all week. It's now 50.5 (Over -115), and per usual, Davis and the risk room are rooting for the Under.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports opened the Cowboys as 5.5-point road favorites in NFL Week 17 odds. But that didn't hold long, with the Commanders undermanned on Christmas Day.

"We know Dak Prescott will at least start for Dallas, and the Cowboys are now up to 7-point favorites," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "With Washington already shutting down Jayden Daniels for the season and Marcus Mariota leaving the Eagles game with an injury, the Commanders were down to third-string quarterback Josh Johnson."

The total is steady at 50.5, as of 11:30 a.m. ET Wednesday.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Dallas (6-8-1 SU/7-8 ATS) can now officially wave goodbye to a postseason appearance this season. In Week 16, the Cowboys were in it halftime, down 21-17 to the Chargers, but didn't score again in a 34-17 loss laying 1.5 points at home.

Washington (4-11 SU/5-10 ATS) looked as if it might have Philadelphia in a little trouble in Week 16, leading 10-7 at halftime. But the Commanders gave up the next 22 points and lost 29-18 as 7-point home underdogs.

QB Marcus Mariota, subbing for the injured Jayden Daniels, exited in the third quarter with a hand injury and didn't return. Josh Johnson finished out the game, and Mariota is questionable vs. the Cowboys, on a short week.

The SuperBook opened Dallas -3.5 in NFL Week 17 odds, and that line was on the move early Sunday night. The Cowboys are already out to -5.5.

"It’s hard to determine the motivation level of both teams. But they are rivals, and this is a national game," SuperBook vice president John Murray said.
