Division rivals hit the field for Sunday afternoon football as the New York Jets head to Foxboro, Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots. The AFC East battle is set for 1:00 p.m. ET and will air on CBS from Gillette Stadium.

New England -7
The New England Patriots cruised to a 25-6 win over the New York Jets when these teams met at MetLife Stadium in Week 2. The Jets out-gained the Patriots by 76 yards, but Zach Wilson threw four interceptions while Mac Jones didn’t turn the ball over once. New England is in desperate need of another win, as the Patriots are currently 0-4 at Gillette Stadium this season.
Jones has improved with each week. The rookie out of Alabama was the last of the five quarterbacks taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but he has looked better than everyone besides No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence. Jones will out-duel Wilson once again, and the Pats will pick up their first home win of the year.
Straight Up - SU, Against the Spread - ATS, Over-Under (O/U)
The Jets are letting Wilson make the mistakes that come with starting a rookie quarterback. He has already thrown nine interceptions in five games, but he and the Jets have had an extra week to prepare for this game. That gives Gang Green a glimmer of hope that the Jets can knock off the team that has dominated them for the last two decades.
If New York is going to pull off the upset, Wilson will need to play well. The Jets are averaging just 3.6 YPC and have one of the worst ground games in the league. The loss of left tackle Mekhi Becton really hurt this offensive line, and it’s not easy to run on the Patriots.
Wilson does have some decent targets in the passing game. Corey Davis leads the team with 20 receptions for 302 yards and three touchdowns, and Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole have both had more time to rest after injuries.
Straight Up - SU, Against the Spread - ATS, Over-Under (O/U)
Jones is coming off his best outing of the season. He completed 15 of 21 passes for 229 yards with two touchdowns and an interception last week against the Cowboys. However, the rookie was greatly helped by a 75-yard touchdown pass to Kendrick Bourne late in the fourth quarter.
