NEW YORK RANGERS vs. PHILADELPHIA FLYERS PREDICTIONS

The second-place Rangers lost a critical game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night in Madison Square Garden by a 4-2 score. New York had a chance to tie the Hurricanes with 102 points, but lost, falling four points back with eight games to play in the regular season. They're still tied with the Toronto Maple Leafs for third in the Eastern Conference with 100 points. New York will look to take out their frustrations out on Philadelphia.

The Rangers are 2-0-1 in the past three games against the Flyers, falling 4-3 in a shootout on April 3 at MSG in the most recent meeting. With Igor Shesterkin playing, and losing, on Monday, it's likely that Alexandar Georgiev will be between the pipes Wednesday.

The Fly Guys had two goals in net on Monday, as Martin Jones was pounded for six goals on 27 shots in Washington on Monday, giving way to Carter Hart for the third period. He coughed up three more goals on 10 shots in the 9-2 loss.

As far as totals are concerned, while the UNDER is 5-1 in the past six against the Metropolitan Division, the OVER is 7-3 in the past 10 games overall, and 6-2 in the past eight as an underdog. The OVER is 5-2 in the past seven when playing on no rest, too.
