The Los Angeles Dodgers have been up and down since handing the San Francisco Giants a four-game sweep from the 21st-24th of July. The Giants have mostly down. They have been enthralled into downward spiral since the All-Star break, only winning three times in their last 11 tries. The National League West Division is led by the Dodgers, comfortably leading by 12 games over the San Diego Padres. The Giants are a whopping 18 games behind first place.

The trade deadline is looming, and we will be interested in seeing the moves these teams make for postseason play, but the Giants may have turned themselves in sellers due to recent form. This series could end up making or breaking the rest of the Giants season. The Dodgers have been front runners for the past few seasons, but they look to grab another banner after the 2020 World Series title.

FanDuel Sportsbook is offering all new players a ‘No Sweat’ bet on their first wager up to $1,000. If the first wager placed at FanDuel is settled as a loss, FanDuel will deposit the original amount back into your account by way of free bets. Why not bet on the Dodgers vs. Giants?

The San Francisco Giants are +112 on the money line at FanDuel, and the Dodgers are listed as -132 favorites on the money line. A $100 wager on the Giants would net a return of $112. FanDuel also provides the run line options. The Dodgers are -1.5 with a price tag of +128. If you are confident on the Dodgers, the run line may be worth a look.

This matchup will pit Andrew Heaney and Logan Webb against each other. Heaney has been hurt most of the season, so he has only been able to log four starts. When Andrew Heaney gets the nod, the Dodgers have been successful as they have won three of his four starts. Heaney carries a 0.47 ERA through limited action and has allowed just one earned run in 19.1 innings.

Logan Webb is one of baseball promising young arms, and his 2.91 ERA in 130 innings this season shows it. He has allowed just two earned runs or fewer in eight of his last 10 starts. Logan Webb will have to have a short memory to forget the rough outing his last time out against the Diamondbacks. He went 6.1 innings but allowed four earned runs on seven hits.

The total is currently set to 7.5. The over is -112 and the under is -108. The under has hit at a 3-0-1 clip in their last four meetings between the NL West rivals. The Giants have played in a few lower scoring affairs, failing to reach eight combined points in seven of the last ten. The Dodgers have trended towards the over, reach eight more combined runs in seven of their last nine games.
