FanDuel No Sweat Bet up to $1,000 on Commanders at Cowboys

We joked about it last week, but things are starting to get serious. Cooper Rush has played well enough in his two starts to grab two wins for the Dallas Cowboys that with each stacked win, a QB controversy is imminent. While the first half on Monday Night Football was giving me serious Sunday Night Football flashbacks, Rush and the Cowboys were able to pull away late. After two starts he has 514 yards through the air on 47-75 passing and two touchdowns. He has not yet thrown an interception.

The yearly conversation surrounding Ezekiel Elliot is that he is washed up and nearing the end of his career, but he is still in fine form. The Cowboys also have Tony Pollard to lean on, and both backs are having productive seasons combining for 334 yards on 68 carries. They both average above 4.4 yards an attempt. After grabbing their first division win on the road, the Cowboys head back to Dallas to welcome the Washington Commanders.

The Commanders have not lived up to the expected hype when they added Carson Wentz to the roster. He has thrown for 861 yards to go along with his 8 touchdown passes and 3 interceptions. Admittedly though, a lot of his yards came when the Commanders were being blown out by both the Lions and Eagles.

The Cowboys have won seven straight NFC East games, and the Commanders would love to be the team to break the streak.

FanDuel Sportsbook is offering all new players who sign up a ‘No Sweat’ bet on their first wager up to $1,000. If your first wager is lost, FanDuel Sportsbook will refund your account by way of free bets on the original wager amount.

FanDuel Sportsbook has the Cowboys listed by a field goal. The line has not seen much movement in either direction. The Cowboys have covered both of games that were started by Rush. The Cowboys have also covered in 21 of the last 28 games against the NFC East.

The Commanders are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five meetings in Dallas and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall against the Cowboys. The favorite, the Cowboys in this matchup, has also covered in five of the last seven games.

The total is listed at 41.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook, a half-point decrease from the opening line of 42. The Cowboys have used their defense to propel their pair of wins, undoubtedly a big part of this total being hung so low. The Cowboys have gone under in three straight games to open the season, but against Washington the over has trended in recent memory.

The over is 10-3 in the last 13 meetings overall. The Cowboys and Commanders have also seen the total go over in seven straight meetings in Dallas. Last season these teams saw 117 points in their two matchups. Both meetings saw at least 47 points.

There is talk that Dak Prescott is ready to play and is going to try, but this is a very similar injury that sidelined Russell Wilson last season for a month. We expect another start by Cooper Rush. Carson Wentz will start to feel the pressure with each mounting loss, so this game ends up having some early season implications.

FanDuel Sportsbook is a great place to take advantage of the angles presented in this game, and they will offer all the spreads, totals, first halves, second halves, props and live betting available. Remember that your first wager after signing up at FanDuel is at ‘No Sweat’ to you up to $1,000. No bonus code is needed to redeem the bet.

Until next time, enjoy the ride.
