Knockouts highlight UFC 295 from New York
With former United States President Donald Trump in attendance, UFC 295 provided him with plenty of fireworks as the main card was filled with finishes at Madison Square Garden from New York, New York.
In the main event, Alex Pereira defeated Jiří Procházka via TKO in the second round to capture the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship. With the victory, Pereira became the ninth two-division champion in UFC history and the first to be champ at middleweight and light heavyweight.
The co-main event also had an early finish as Tom Aspinall only needed 69 seconds to defeat Sergei Pavlovich as he caught him with a shot to the head. With the win, Aspinall is now the interim UFC heavyweight champion.
Both Pereira and Aspinall cashed as short favorites and the 'chalk' ruled the night at UFC 295 with favs going 11-1 with a draw on the 13-fight card.
Bettors enjoying finishes saw eight overall and that helped 'under' bettors go 8-5 easily as all eight finishes occurred in the first or second round.
