Arizona vs. Houston Odds

• Opening point spread: Houston -6.5
• Opening moneyline: Houston -278/Arizona +225
• Opening total: Over/Under 133.5 points scored
• Time: 6 p.m. ET Saturday (ESPN)

UPDATE 5:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With 45 minutes until tipoff, Houston is -6.5 (-102) on BetMGM Nevada's Big 12 Tournament odds board. The Cougars opened on the high side, at -7.5, but have been at some iteration of -6.5 all day.

"Tickets are 2/1 Houston, but money is really close, a little bit more on Houston. They are playing Arizona moneyline, 2/1 tickets and 3/1 money," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said.

The total opened at 135.5 and initially backed up to 134.5 this morning. But the number has since made its way up to 137.5.

"The public and the sharps are on the same side. Sharps took Over 134.5 and Over 135.5," Shelton said.

UPDATE 12:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Houston (29-4 SU/16-16-1 ATS) continued its winning ways in Friday's semifinals against No. 4 seed BYU. The Cougars rumbled to a 74-54 victory, easily cashing as 6.5-point favorites.

Kelvin Sampson's squad is 25-1 SU in its last 26 games (14-11-1 ATS).

Arizona (21-11 SU/17-15 ATS) closed as a 1.5-point underdog vs. No. 2 seed Texas Tech. But the Wildcats notched an 86-80 victory. It marked the first time Arizona won consecutive games since a home victory over Texas Tech on Feb. 8.
