NC State vs Marquette Picks & Prediction

N.C. State is the lowest seed remaining in the NCAA Tournament as the Wolfpack look to keep their magic going against Marquette.

The Wolfpack won five games in five nights to capture the automatic bid from the ACC, while defeating Texas Tech and Oakland to reach the Sweet 16.

Marquette rallied past Western Kentucky in the first round, followed by holding off Colorado to reach its first Sweet 16 since 2012.

The Golden Eagles have limited their last five opponents to 33% shooting or worse from 3-point range, which included holding UConn to 7-of-24 shooting in the Big East championship.

Amazingly, the Wolfpack are 8-2 at neutral sites this season, including a 6-1 ATS mark in the underdog role.

Marquette is 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS in its last nine games as a single-digit favorite, which includes the non-cover against Colorado by a half-point.

Since January 15, the Golden Eagles have lost four games, three coming to powerhouse UConn. Marquette should be able to take care of business here and cover against N.C. State.
