The Spartans picked up a much-needed 68-65 win over Purdue at home Saturday as 4.5-point underdogs, snapping an 0-3 SU/ATS skid in the past three games. Michigan State also entered that game 1-6 ATS in the prior seven games, so they really needed to get back on track.

The last time these teams played, Sparty smoked the Wolverines 83-67 as four-point favorites as the OVER connected on Jan. 29. Michigan State dominated at 55% (30-of-55) from the field and 50% (9-of-18) from behind the arc, while knocking down 80% (12-of-15) from the free-throw line. Four players were in double digits, including A.J. Hoggard with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and the Spartans swatted six shots, including four alone by Marcus Bingham, Jr.

The Wolverines' NCAA Tournament hopes are on life support, and it is going to take a miracle to get them to the Big Dance at this point. It's likely win the Big Ten Tournament or bust, but Michigan could use all the signature wins it can get, including this one. It topped Rutgers at home last Wednesday, but was tripped up 93-85 by Illinois on Sunday.
