College football odds for Week 3 are on the board and receiving plenty of attention as we tackle all the major storylines of the weekend. The Florida State Seminoles and Boston College Eagles meet at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill on Saturday, September 16 at 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Here's everything you need to know about the college football odds for the Week 3 game between Florida State vs Boston College: the opening lines, spreads, betting trends and more. Check back regularly for updates.

Florida State vs. Boston College Odds

• Opening point spread: Florida State -28
• Opening moneyline: Florida State TBA/Boston College TBA
• Opening total: Over/Under 56.5 points scored
• Time: Noon ET Saturday (ABC)

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: This line has tumbled down to Florida State -24.5 at BetMGM, after opening -28.5. The final 2 points of that move came in just the past few hours. Still, tickets are in the 4/1 range and money 9/1 on Seminoles spread.

Weather is likely a factor in the line move and in the total plunging from 55.5 to 46. Boston isn't in the path of Hurricane Lee, but the outer tangents of the storm are expected to cause rainfall Saturday morning and winds of 20-30 mph throughout the day.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET MONDAY: The Seminoles opened the 2023 season with a bang, ripping then-No. 5 LSU 41-24 as 1.5-point neutral-site underdogs. In Week 2, Florida State (2-0 SU and ATS) drubbed Southern Miss 66-13 as a 31-point home favorite

Boston College was a 10.5-point favorite in Week 2, hosting FCS foe Holy Cross. However, the Eagles (1-1 SU/0-2 ATS) had to hang on for a 31-28 victory. In Week 1, BC was an 8-point home favorite against Northern Illinois and lost in overtime 27-24.

Last year, Florida State rolled to a 44-14 home win. For this year's contest, Caesars opened the 'Noles -28 and has toggled between -28/-28.5/-27.5 in the first 24 hours. The line is now Florida State -27.5.

The total has seen a bigger early adjustment, dropping down to 54.
