The Tigers of Clemson look to keep its record unblemished with a road trip to the Doak in Florida's panhandle. Clemson picked up a 31-3 road win against Boston College last weekend, attaining bowl eligibility, not that it was ever a question it would. Clemson has also covered its past two, the first time covering consecutive games since covering the final two regular-season games and the bowl win last season.
Clemson topped Florida State 30-20 last season in Death Valley, narrowly covering a 9.5-point number as the OVER connected. FSU led 20-17 midway through the fourth quarter after a scoop and score, but RB Will Shipley cracked off a 24-yard touchdown run to go ahead, and the Tigers pounced on a loose ball for a scoop and score with zeroes on the clock, a score, as they say, which was significant to some.
FSU lost last time out at home, falling 31-21 against Wake Forest as a 6-point favorite as the UNDER cashed. The Seminoles went to Raleigh last weekend and fell 19-17. It frittered away a second-half lead after it looked like FSU might luck into a win after knocking out QB Devin Leary. FSU did cover, and the UNDER hit for the fourth time in six games.
Clemson should ease past FSU yet again here, as the Seminoles are working their way back to national relevance, but it still has plenty of work to do.
