2026 College Football Odds for Week 8

Indiana vs. Michigan Odds

  • Opening point spread: Indiana -7.5
  • Opening moneyline: Indiana TBA/Michigan TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 41 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 6 Indiana (6-1 SU/1/6 ATS) saw its 22-game win streak snapped in Week 7. The Hoosiers fell to then-No. 4 Ohio State 19-15 as 2.5-point home underdogs.

Indiana nearly had the go-ahead touchdown catch on fourth-and-4 from the Ohio State 27-yard line, with 1:02 remaining. But Nick Marsh's first foot came down out of bounds in the end zone, and the Hoosiers turned it over on downs.

Michigan (4-2 SU/2-4 ATS) halted a two-game losing streak, just barely. In Week 7, the Wolverines led Penn State 14-3 entering the fourth quarter, then held on for a 21-18 win. But Michigan didn't cover as 6.5-point home chalk and is on an 0-3 ATS skid.

Circa Sports' opening college football numbers are well-regarded and often draw early sharp action. Circa opened Indiana as 7.5-point road chalk and stuck there for almost an hour. The first move was toward Michigan, with the Hoosiers dipping to -7 in college football Week 8 odds.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 5 Texas Tech (6-0 SU/3-3 ATS) had no problem staying perfect in Week 7, while also cashing for the third straight game. The Red Raiders routed Arizona State 53-25 laying 16.5 points at home.

Cincinnati (4-2 SU/3-3 ATS) blew a big opportunity to stay in the thick of the Big 12 race. The Bearcats led a shootout at West Virginia 42-35, after a touchdown with 5:35 remaining.

But Cincy gave up a 40-yard TD pass with 3:44 remaining. The Bearcats then allowed a field goal as time expired and lost 45-42 as 1.5-point road underdogs.

Circa opened Texas Tech-Cincinnati at Red Raiders -11.5, with no movement in the first hour in Week 8 college football odds. But the total leapt straight from 55 to 57 within a few minutes Sunday afternoon.

Texas A&M vs. Alabama Odds

Texas A&M @ Alabama Betting Odds

  • Opening point spread: Alabama -16.5
  • Opening moneyline: Alabama TBA/Texas A&M TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 52 points scored
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 13 Alabama (5-2 SU/4-3 ATS) was expected to bounce back from a Week 6 home loss to Georgia. Tennessee had other ideas. The Crimson Tide never led and didn't score in the second half, losing 26-10 as 7.5-point road favorites.

Texas A&M (4-3 SU/3-4 ATS) has already had its season blown up, with all three SU losses coming in the SEC, over a four-week stretch. The Aggies got a breather in Week 7 vs. FCS foe The Citadel, rolling 41-0, but failing to cash as a huge 45.5-point home favorite.

Alabama opened -16.5 at Circa Sports, and it took about 45 minutes to see any movement in this college football odds Week 8 market. But the number then went straight to Alabama -14.5 Sunday afternoon.

Ole Miss vs. Texas Odds

  • Opening point spread: Texas -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Ole Miss TBA/Texas TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 52.5 points scored
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Texas (4-2 SU/1-5 ATS) is on a very unexpected two-game SU and ATS skid, putting its College Football Playoff hopes in a perilous spot. The Longhorns were 13.5-point home favorites vs. Florida and lost outright 27-24.

Texas got a TD with 4:21 remaining to pull within that final margin. The Longhorns then forced a three-and-out to get the ball back at their own 46 with 2:32 left. But Arch Manning fumbled it away two plays later, sealing the upset loss.

Two weeks ago, Texas was ranked No. 1. Now, the Longhorns are No. 18.

No. 7 Ole Miss (5-1 SU/3-3 ATS) rebounded from its Week 4 loss at Florida with a pair of blowout wins. In Week 7, the Rebels thumped No. 13 Missouri 31-3 giving 4 points at home.

Circa Sports pegged Texas a 3.5-point home favorite in Week 8 college football odds. There was no movement in the first hour Sunday afternoon.

Houston vs. Utah Odds

  • Opening point spread: Utah -6.5

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Utah (6-0 SU/5-1 ATS) had a 13-0 halftime lead at Colorado, seemingly on its way to covering a 15.5-point spread. But the Utes got all they could handle in a back-and-forth second half, winning 27-24 on the road.

No. 9 Utah gave up the first 17 points of the second half to actually trail 17-13. But the Utes rebounded with two touchdowns, then held off the Buffaloes.

Semi-similarly, No. 16 Houston (6-1 SU/3-4 ATS) led Oklahoma State 14-3 at halftime. But it was a shootout from there, with the Cougars hanging on for a 35-32 victory laying 4 points at home.

Houston-Utah opened at Utes -6.5 in Circa Sports' college football Week 8 odds. There was no movement in first hour Sunday afternoon.
