Masters Odds – 2nd Round Update

The first round of the 2018 Masters is in the books and tournament co-favorite Jordan Spieth has lived up to his billing on Thursday.

Spieth birdied five straight holes beginning at the 13th hole on his way to a 6-under 66 and holds a two-shot lead heading into Friday's action.

Oddsmakers at [...] had him listed at 10/1 odds (Bet $100 to win $1,000) before the tournament began with Tiger Woods as the top two co-favorites.

Heading into the weekend, the global outfit has installed Spieth as a 2/1 favorite to capture the event in wire-to-wire fashion. Make a note that Spieth did capture the 2015 Masters but International golfers have won the last two tournaments from Augusta National Golf Club. 

Pre-Tournament Odds

While Spieth was cashing Thursday, Woods finished with a 1-over 73 opening round. His odds have dropped to 25/1 at the global book as he's seven shots off the lead.

A pair of American golfers in Tony Finau and Matt Kuchar are just behind Spieth at 4-under. While [...] believes Kuchar (16/1) has a chance to compete through the weekend, Finau is sitting at 35/1.

Rory McIlroy is three shots (-3) off the lead and he's the second betting choice at 11/2 odds (Bet $100 to win $550).
