GAME DAY UPDATE: An hour before kickoff, the Bills are laying 3.5 points in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 6 market. Eight days ago, Buffalo opened -5.5 and went to -4.5 in relatively short order. The number then toggled between Bills -4.5/-4 during the week.

This afternoon brought the moves to -3.5 (-115), then -3.5 flat. But the odds moves aren't in line with the need tonight.

"It's a majority of Bills money, so we're rooting for the Falcons," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 49.5, down from the 50.5 opener but up from last Monday's low point of 48.5. The latest move came in the past hour, from 50 to 49.5. Cipollini has noted repeatedly that the Under is the need in pretty much every game, due to the proliferation of single-game parlays.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: On Sunday night, less than 24 hours from kickoff, the Bills are 4.5-point road favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. Buffalo has actually spent most of the week at some variation of -4.5, after opening -5.5 and briefly touching -3.5 last Monday.

Spread betting is rather interesting at DK, where 80% of tickets are on the Bills, but 68% of money is on the home 'dog Falcons.

The total has been at 49.5 (Over -118) since Wednesday, down from a 50.5 opener, but up from last Monday's brief low point of 47.5 (Over -115). The Over is seeing 67% of bets/78% of money.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Buffalo is 4.5-point chalk in Borgata's NFL Week 6 odds, down from Sunday's -5.5 opener.

"It's an interesting matchup, with the Bills coming off a home loss in prime time to the Patriots, and the Falcons coming off a bye," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Falcons have already seen respected money come in on them at 5.5.

"But now at 4.5, the public is starting to come in on the Bills."

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Buffalo (4-0 SU/2-2 ATS) is on the field right now, hosting the New England Patriots in Sunday Night Football.

Atlanta (2-2 SU and ATS) is coming off its bye. In Week 4, the Falcons took advantage of Jayden Daniels' absence to beat Washington 34-27 laying 2.5 points at home.

Bills-Falcons opened at Buffalo -5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 6 market. Once Patriots-Bills kicked off, Bills-Falcons was taken off the board. Bills-Falcons went back up Monday morning at Buffalo -3.5, then Tuesday advanced to -4/-4.5.

"I'm not sure about straight bets on the spread. But considering the fact that the Bills are a favorite in prime time, we will need the other side," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said. "All the parlays and teasers that survive the weekend will be ending with the Bills.

"I think the total will be a popular bet, as well. But not as much as Buffalo just to win. I anticipate we'll be rooting for Atlanta come Monday night."

  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ABC)

GAME DAY UPDATE: Less than two hours before kickoff, the Commanders are -5.5 (-105) in BetMGM's NFL Week 6 odds. Washington opened -4.5 and initially went to -4 for a few hours last Monday, then returned to -4.5.

The Commanders got to -5 Sunday and -5.5 a few minutes ago, at 6:15 p.m. ET.

"This game is close to 50/50. So we've got no lean. We just want it to be low-scoring," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total opened at 50.5 and spent much of the week toggling between 50 and 49.5. The latest move came Sunday night, from to to 49.5.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports opened Washington -4.5 and saw a little back-and-forth before resettling at -4.5, where the spread remains Wednesday night.

"We’ve seen this touch 4 and 5 already," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Jayden Daniels returned last week, and the Commanders really took control of their game against the Chargers on Sunday, after a slow start.

"The Bears are coming off a bye week. The last time we saw them, they were blocking a Raiders field goal to save a victory, in a very sloppy game."

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: It took a little while for Jayden Daniels to reacclimate, after missing two games for Washington (3-2 SU and ATS). But after falling behind 10-0 in the first quarter, the Commanders did the rest of the scoring in a 27-10 victory as 3-point road 'dogs vs. the L.A. Rams.

Chicago (2-2 SU and ATS) has a two-game win streak for the first time since stringing together three straight wins from Weeks 4-6 last season. That three-game run was followed by a season-killing 10-game losing streak.

The Bears are coming off a bye. In Week 4, Chicago was a 1.5-point 'dog at Las Vegas and won 25-24 on a late touchdown. A blocked field goal secured the Bears' victory.

The SuperBook opened Washington -4.5 vs. Chicago, with no movement Sunday night.

  • Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)

GAME DAY UPDATE: Two hours before kickoff, Kansas City is 2.5-point home chalk at BetMGM. A week ago, the Chiefs opened -1.5, then slipped to -1 Monday and initially remained there after a Monday night loss at Jacksonville.

However, on Tuesday, K.C. climbed to -1.5/-2/-2.5, and the line has been painted to -2.5 ever since. BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini is hoping the book can thread the needle tonight.

"Right now, we're hoping for a Chiefs win by 1 or 2 points. Lions fans are backing Detroit on the moneyline, Chiefs fans at -2.5," Cipollini said.

The total is at 51.5, down from the 53 high point from Wednesday until this morning, but up from the 49.5 opener. Weeks ago, Cipollini said the Under will always be the need, particularly in standalone prime-time games, due to the proliferation of same-game parlays.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Kansas City is a 2.5-point favorite in Borgata Sports' NFL odds Week 6 market, up from a -1.5 opener.

"After their season-opening loss to the Packers, the Lions have been steamrolling teams every week. But now they have to travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The line has moved up, with the Lions facing major injury issues in their secondary."

Cornerback Terrion Arnold (shoulder) is out, and safeties Brian Branch (ankle) and Kerby Joseph (knee) are questionable.

"It’s been mostly recreational money wagered thus far, and that money has been on Detroit. The total has also moved up significantly, from 49.5 to 52.5," Gable said Wednesday afternoon.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: The Chiefs are now 2-3 SU and ATS, which is not where most thought they'd be through five weeks. In the Week 5 Monday nighter, Kansas City built a 14-0 lead at Jacksonville by early in the second quarter.

But K.C. ultimately fell 31-28 on a last-minute Jaguars touchdown.

On Sunday, The SuperBook opened Lions-Chiefs at K.C. -1.5. The game came off the board Monday night, once Chiefs-Jaguars kicked off. On Tuesday morning, Lions-Chiefs went back up at Kansas City -1.

But interestingly, the Chiefs quickly stretched out to -2.5, with stops at -1.5/-2 along the way.

The SuperBook opened the total at 50.5, went to 50 Monday, then reopened Tuesday morning at 50.5. But that number was quickly on the move, as well, going to 51.5/52.

More in Lions vs. Chiefs predictions.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Detroit (4-1 SU and ATS) did pretty much what was expected in Week 5. The Lions built a 28-3 lead over three quarters at Cincinnati and coasted to a 37-24 victory giving 9.5 points on the road.

Kansas City (2-2 SU and ATS) still has Week 5 work to do. The Chiefs are in Jacksonville on Monday night.

The SuperBook opened K.C. a slim 1.5-point home favorite vs. Detroit, with no movement Sunday night.

"A good SNF game with a close spread means that both sides will see love throughout the week," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said. "This is also a game where I think customers will be fighting over themselves to bet the Over.

"I'm not sure about the side. But I think we'll be looking for a low-scoring affair Sunday night."

GAME DAY UPDATE: Ninety minutes pre-kick, the Bucs are -3.5 (even) in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 6 market. A week ago, Tampa Bay opened -2.5 (-120), then went to -3 Monday and -3.5 (-105) Saturday. The nudge to -3.5 (even) came in the past 30 minutes.

"We're rooting for the Bucs in this one," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total was at 47.5 all week and dipped to 47 this morning. Still, Cipollini said BetMGM will need the Under, per usual.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Tampa Bay opened -2.5 in Borgata Sports' Week 6 NFL odds, and the Bucs are out to -3.

"Baker Mayfield and Tampa Bay continue to win tight games, with this past Sunday no exception. They not only covered against Seattle, but won outright as a 3.5 point dog," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.

The total is up a point, from 46.5 to 47.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: San Francisco (4-1 SU and ATS) was missing QB Brock Purdy and wideouts Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall in the Week 4 Thursday night game. As such, the Niners were 8-point road 'dogs vs. the Los Angeles Rams.

But Mac Jones & Co. got out to a 14-0 lead, then hung in to notch a 26-23 overtime upset.

Tampa Bay (4-1 SU/3-2 ATS) recorded a big Week 5 road win. Caught in a shootout at Seattle, the Bucs trailed 35-28 late in the fourth quarter. But Baker Mayfield & Co. put together a TD drive to tie it, the Bucs' defense got an interception, and Tampa won 38-35 on a final-seconds field goal.

The Buccaneers were 3.5-point underdogs.

For Niners-Bucs, The SuperBook opened Tampa -3 in NFL Week 6 odds.

"We took a sharp bet on Tampa -2.5 on Thursday," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said, alluding to a bet placed on last week's lookahead line. "That, combined with the Bucs winning in Seattle today, made us open this game at -3.

"San Fran is also still really banged up. This is a game where I could see the public being one-way traffic on the Buccaneers."

GAME DAY UPDATE: The Packers are -14.5 (-105) at BetMGM, about 90 minutes before kickoff. Green Bay opened -14.5 flat a week ago, went to -14 Tuesday, then Saturday moved to -14.5 (-105)/-14.5 flat.

"We're actually taking a ton of bets on Bengals +14.5. So we either want the Packers to cover or just lose outright," Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 44.5, which is where it spent most of the week, save for an early-week stint at 44. With parlays and single-game parlays, BetMGM will be rooting for the Under.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: This point spread is the largest by far on the Week 7 NFL odds board, with No. 2 being a couple games at 7.5. DraftKings has the Packers at -14 (-115), on a line that toggled between -14.5/-14 early in the week.

With that many points, early spread betting favors the Bengals, with tickets 2/1 and money 3/1.

DK's total is at 44.5, matching the opener after spending time Sunday into Monday at 43.5 (Over -118). Tickets and money are in the 2.5/1 range on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Green Bay (2-1-1 SU/2-2 ATS) had a bye in Week 5, and probably needed it. In Week 4, the Packers were 6.5-point favorites at Dallas and barely escaped with a 40-40 overtime tie.

Cincinnati (2-3 SU/1-4 ATS) dug itself into a 28-3 hole through three quarters before Detroit let off the gas. The Bengals lost 37-24 catching 9.5 points at home.

Green Bay opened as hefty 14.5-point home chalk vs. Cincy in The SuperBook's Week 6 NFL odds. As of 9:30 p.m. ET Sunday, there's been no spread movement, but the total went from 45 to 44.5.

GAME DAY UPDATE: DraftKings has the Raiders -3.5 an hour before kickoff, moving off -4.5 (-105) this morning. Las Vegas opened -6 and quickly went to -5.5 last Sunday, then went to -4.5 Monday and had a -3.5 stint from Wednesday night to Thursday afternoon.

The Raiders are seeing 54% of spread bets/65% of spread money.

DK's total is at 41.5 (Over -115) and in fact has spent most of the week at 41.5, after opening at 42.5. The Over is getting 62% of bets/58% of money.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: This line sprinted toward Tennessee early in the week at DraftKings Sportsbook. Las Vegas opened -6 Sunday evening and quickly dipped to -5.5, then Monday brought a move to -4.5. On Wednesday, the Raiders bottomed out at -3.5 (-115).

Thursday afternoon, the Raiders rebounded to -4.5 flat, and that's where the spread is at 6:30 p.m. ET Thursday. Spread tickets are almost even, but 83% of spread money is on Las Vegas.

DK's total is at 41.5, which is where it's spent most of the week, after opening 42.5. The Over is drawing 59% of tickets, while 79% of money is on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Tennessee (1-4 SU/2-3 ATS) nabbed the most alarming win of Week 5. Two minutes into the fourth quarter, and already trailing 21-6, the Titans gave up what appeared to be a 72-yard Eddie Demercado touchdown run.

But Demercado let go of the ball before crossing the goal line, and the ball rolled out of bounds in the end zone. Given new life, Cam Ward & Co. scored the final 16 points, winning 22-21 on a final-seconds field goal. Tennessee was a 7.5-point road underdog.

Las Vegas (1-4 SU and ATS) took a 3-0 lead late in the first quarter at Indianapolis. Then the Raiders did Raider things, giving up 40 straight points in losing 40-6 as 7-point road pups.

On Sunday night, The SuperBook opened Titans-Raiders at Las Vegas -6.5 and moved to -6 within a half-hour.

GAME DAY UPDATE: This line jumped the fence at BetMGM once again, going from Jags -1 (-102) to Seahawks -1 (-105) this morning. After opening at Jacksonville -1.5 (-105), it flipped to Seattle -1 for a few hours Monday, then jumped to Jacksonville -1.5.

The number was at Jags -1 since Tuesday, before today's flip. With 90 minutes until kickoff, the Seahawks are netting 58% of spread bets/71% of spread money. The moneyline also leans similarly toward Seattle, at 62% of bets/72% of cash.

"We'll be rooting for the Jaguars," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

BetMGM's total has been at 47.5 since Wednesday, climbing from a 44.5 opener. But it's two-way play, with 60% of bets/56% of cash on the Over.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports opened Jacksonville as modest 1.5-point home chalk and is at -1 as of 6:30 p.m. ET Wednesday.

"The Jags have a quick turnaround after their Monday night win against the Chiefs," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "It's been early Seattle money here. We could certainly see the favorite flip through the week, and this will probably stay close to pick 'em."

The total is up to 47.5 from a 44.5 opener.

Check out VegasInsider's Seahawks vs. Jaguars best bets.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Jacksonville (4-1 SU and ATS) continues to be one of the surprises of the season so far. In the Week 5 Monday night game vs. Kansas City, the Jags dug themselves into a 14-0 hole by early in the second quarter.

However, Trevor Lawrence & Co. battled back, and the Jags ultimately won 31-28 on a last-minute touchdown as 3.5-point home underdogs.

Once Chiefs-Jags kicked off, The SuperBook took Seahawks-Jaguars off the board. On Tuesday morning, Seahawks-Jags reopened at Jacksonville -1 and quickly went to -1.5. That's up from Monday's low point of pick 'em and Sunday's Jaguars -1 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Seattle (3-2 SU and ATS) ended up on the short end of a shootout with Tampa Bay. The Seahawks got a touchdown to take a 35-28 lead with 3:18 remaining.

But Seattle then allowed a game-tying TD, Sam Darnold threw an interception, and the Seahawks lost 38-35 on a final-seconds field goal.

Jacksonville (3-1 SU and ATS) is off to a solid start, but still has Week 5 work to complete. The Jaguars host Kansas City on Monday night.

Seahawks-Jags opened Jacksonville -1.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 6 market.

"This is a game that I think will see good two-way action," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said. "We were split on opening this game at pick or Jags -1. I think Chiefs-Jags Monday Night Football will determine who the public bets early on.

"I don't think we'll know who we're rooting for until we kickoff."

GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM spent all week at various iterations of Rams -7.5, then this morning went to -7 (-115). The Ravens are again without QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring), the key reason that they are touchdown underdogs at home in Week 6 NFL odds.

Ninety minutes before kickoff, Los Angeles is seeing 57% of spread tickets, but 65% of spread money is on Baltimore. Moneyline bettors are hoping for an upset, with 70% of tickets and cash on the Ravens. And BetMGM wouldn't mind that either, though it would settle for a cover.

"We're hoping for the Ravens in this one," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 44.5 (Over -115), down from a 45.5 (Under -115) opener. The Over is drawing 59% of tickets/56% of money.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: The Rams are painted to -7.5 at Borgata Sports, with no movement so far this week.

"Without Lamar Jackson again, we will see if anyone wants to back Baltimore in this spot. But it’s also been the defense that's an issue.  The Rams have been a popular teaser play already," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.

The total is down a tick, from 45.5 to 45.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Baltimore is 1-4 SU and ATS, putting them well behind the 8-ball with less than a third of the season complete. In Week 5, the Ravens – minus Lamar Jackson and a host of others – got blasted by Houston 44-10 as 2.5-point home pups.

Los Angeles (3-2 SU and ATS) was dealt one of the bigger upsets of the season so far, in the Week 4 Thursday nighter. The Rams closed as 8-point home favorites against injury-riddled San Francisco, but lost outright 26-23 in overtime.

That proved to be a hugely costly game for Circa Survivor, knocking out 3,524 entries, nearly 30% of the remaining field.

The SuperBook is working on the assumption that Jackson (hamstring) will miss a third game when the Rams and Ravens line up. Los Angeles opened as 7-point road chalk in Week 6 NFL odds.

"This is another game where I think they'll be lining up to put the Rams in parlays and teasers," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said Sunday night. "The Ravens were a no-show today, so I doubt the public will be looking back them here.

"Regardless of the straight-bet ticket count, I think we'll need Baltimore once that game kicks off."

GAME DAY UPDATE: On Saturday night, news broke that Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) is likely out with a foot injury. That sent the Colts straight from -7.5 to -9.5 at BetMGM.

Indianapolis is now -8.5, with 90 minutes until kickoff. Indy opened -5.5, went to -6.5 Monday, -7 Wednesday and -7.5 Thursday. Spread tickets are running 3/1 and spread money 4/1 on the Colts.

"The Cards will be one of the biggest needs in the early games, with most of the money on the Colts," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said. "It would be nice to get a few of those moneyline underdogs today, on the big spread games."

It's not out of the question. Underdogs went 9-5 SU in Week 5, including San Francisco, Tennessee and New England, all 'dogs of +7.5 or more.

BetMGM's total spent most of the week at 47.5, with a couple stints at 47. The number went to 46.5 Saturday night. Tickets are running almost even, with a lean toward the Under, while money is 2/1 on the Under.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: After opening -5.5, Indianapolis is on the move this week in Borgata Sports' NFL odds Week 6 market.

"The Colts have been one of the best stories in the NFL this season, behind the play of Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "They quickly took money and are now up to -7.5."

That's as of 3 p.m. ET Thursday. Indy went from -5.5 to -6.5 Monday afternoon, then to -7 Wednesday afternoon and -7.5 Thursday.

"The Cardinals are coming off a loss that killed not only a lot of Survivor contest entries, but also a lot of moneyline parlays. Arizona needs a good rebound performance here on the road," Gable said.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Arizona (2-3 SU and ATS) arguably took the most stinging loss of Week 5. The Cardinals blew all of a 21-3 lead and tumbled to the Tennessee Titans 22-21 on a final-seconds field goal.

Arizona led 21-6 entering the fourth quarter, and Emari Demercado broke loose for a 72-yard touchdown run that should've put the Cards up 28-6. But inexplicably, Demercado let go of the ball before crossing the goal line, and it rolled out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback.

Instead of 28-6, it was still 21-6. The Cardinals then allowed two touchdowns and that final field goal to lose.

Indianapolis, behind a revitalized Daniel Jones, is arguably the biggest surprise so far this season at 4-1 SU and ATS. In Week 5, the Colts boat-raced Las Vegas 40-6 laying 7 points at home.

Indy spotted the Raiders a late-first-quarter field goal, then scored the next 40 points. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had three touchdowns.

The Cards-Colts line is already on the move in The SuperBook's NFL Week 6 odds. Indy opened -4.5 and went to -5.5 within about 30 minutes Sunday night. The total nudged from 47.5 to 47.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With kickoff under two hours away, Philly is -7.5 (even) in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 6 market. The Eagles opened -7 (-120) Sunday evening, got to -7.5 (-105) Monday and the current number early this morning.

"It's not as crazy as I'd expect right now. It's 60/40 Eagles money," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said. "We'll need the Giants, and on the spread is best. Outright is OK, but just covering is fine."

The total is down to 40.5 (Over -115) from Sunday's 42.5 flat opener. Still, contrary to the move, BetMGM will need the Under.

Earlier this season, Cipollini stressed that in most games – and specifically prime-time standalone matchups – the book always needs the Under, due to the proliferation of single-game parlays.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Philadelphia opened -7 in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 6 odds and sits at -7.5 as of 6:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. Worth noting is that the Atlantic City book is just a stone's throw from Philadelphia.

"It's been pretty much one-way traffic on Philadelphia since we opened this game," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Eagles still haven’t played a complete game this season with lapses happening either for an entire half or at least a quarter.

"It finally caught up to them against Denver on Sunday. If the Giants can cut out the turnovers that have been plaguing them, they may be able to stay in this game against their division rivals."

The total is down to 41 from a 42.5 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Philadelphia (4-1 SU/3-2 ATS) somehow took its first loss of the season, despite taking a 17-3 lead into the fourth quarter. The Eagles gave up the final 18 points in a 21-18 loss laying 4 points at home.

New York (1-4 SU/2-3 ATS) got out of the gate quickly in rookie QB Jaxson Dart's second start. But after taking a 14-3 lead early in the second quarter, the Giants didn't score again, losing to New Orleans 26-14 as 2.5-point road underdogs.

Dart had two touchdown passes, both to Theo Johnson, but threw two interceptions, as well. Also, rookie running back Cam Skattebo fumbled in the red zone early in the fourth quarter, and New Orleans ran it back for the game's final score.

At 7 p.m. ET Sunday, The SuperBook opened Eagles-Giants at Philly -7. There's been no movement in the NFL odds Week 6 market, as of 9 p.m. ET Sunday.

"A touchdown favorite in a standalone prime-time game almost guarantees that we'll need the underdog Thursday night," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said. "A million teasers and parlays will no doubt start off with the Eagles as the first leg leading into the weekend."
