AFC championship odds continue to develop, with the regular season a wrap and Wild Card Weekend on the way.

Over the past three weeks or so, there's been a changing of the guard in odds to win the AFC championship. On Dec. 12, the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots were co-favorites. Now, it's the Denver Broncos alone on top.

Mile-High Momentum

LATEST UPDATE: The Denver Broncos finished the regular season at 14-3 and nabbed the No. 1 seed, winning a tiebreaker over New England. In getting the bye and home-field advantage, Denver moved from +300 to +225 in BetMGM's AFC championship odds.

As the No. 2 seed, New England (14-3) gets at least one home playoff game, and two if it beats the L.A. Chargers on Wild Card Weekend. BetMGM has the Patriots as the +400 second choice in AFC futures odds.

Unlike Denver and New England, the Buffalo Bills (12-5) have been at or near the top of these odds all season long. But as the No. 6 seed, the Bills travel to red-hot Jacksonville (13-4, eight-game win streak) on Wild Card Weekend.

Still, BetMGM has Buffalo as the +500 third choice in 2025-26 AFC championship odds.

The Houston Texans (12-5) are a big mover in recent weeks, riding an eight-game win streak into the playoffs. Houston was as long as +4000 in AFC championship futures as recently as post-Week 11, but is now into the +550 fourth choice.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (13-4) are just as hot, winning eight in a row. Jacksonville is the +600 fifth choice among the seven remaining teams, followed by the Chargers (+1300) and Pittsburgh Steelers (+1800).

The top five in ticket count for BetMGM's AFC championship odds, not counting eliminated teams:

  • Bills
  • Broncos
  • Patriots
  • Steelers
  • Texans

If you include eliminated teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens still have the third- and fifth-most tickets, respectively, in odds to win the AFC.

The top five in money among remaining teams:

  • Broncos
  • Bills
  • Texans
  • Patriots
  • Steelers

If eliminated teams were included in money count, Baltimore would be third and K.C. tied for fourth.
