The Celtics defense held the Warriors to only 11 points in the fourth quarter in Game 3. That’s the third-least in an NBA Finals game during the shot clock era, according to the Associated Press.

This came after the Warriors rallied from as many as 18 points in the first half to take a one-point lead on a Stephen Curry 3-pointer with 3:45 left in the third quarter. That would be the last lead of the night for the Warriors, as the Celtics seized control the remainder of the way.

The Celtics have a better record on the road than at home during these playoffs. The Eastern Conference champs are 6-4 at home while posting an 8-3 record away from TD Garden.

After taking Game 3 by double figures, the host Celtics are favored by 3.5 points against the Warriors in Game 5. The Celtics are 14-8 against the spread in playoff games. The Celtics are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven contests. The Celtics are also 14-6 SU in their last 20 home contests.

The over/under is set for 211.0 points in Game 5. The OVER occurred in Game 3. Overall, the UNDER has been the result in 12 of the last 16 meetings between the Celtics and Warriors. The total has gone OVER in four of the last five contests for the Warriors. Expect the OVER to happen again as both teams have their stars heating up.

The Warriors will cover the spread and even the series at 2 heading back to Golden State.
