Before the game on July 26, the White Sox ranked third in batting average (.257), 16th in RBI (402), 18th in on-base percentage (.312), 20th in slugging percentage (.385) and 24th in home runs (84). Center fielder Luis Robert leads the White Sox in home runs (12) and RBI (54). First baseman Jose Abreu is tops in on-base percentage (.388) and hits (109). Shortstop Tim Anderson has a team-best .310 batting average.
