LATEST UPDATE: Miami is down to 14-point chalk in BetMGM's College Football Week 5 Odds, as of 6:15 p.m. ET Saturday, 75 minutes before kickoff. The Hurricanes opened -18.5, fell to -17/-16.5 early in the week, then toggled between -15.5/-15 from Friday-Saturday afternoon.

In just the past 30 minutes, the 'Canes dropped to -14.5/-14. However, the public is piling on Miami.

"Bettors are expecting -14 to be far too low, betting the Miami side, with 10 times the amount of bets and seven times the amount of money," BetMGM trading manager Adair Horne said, noting that action includes straight bets/parlays etc.

And Miami moneyline is very popular too, primarily in parlays.

"Bettors are expecting an easy Miami win and Over 48.5, with the book cheering a Clemson cover or upset win for a nice result," Horne said.

The total is at 48.5, having just moved off 49.5 after moving up from 48.5 this morning. Both numbers are down from a 51.5 opener.

THIRD UPDATE: As of 6:30 p.m. ET Thursday, the Hurricanes are -16.5 (-120) in Hard Rock Bet's Week 5 college football odds. Miami is taking 66% of bets/69% of money.

Interestingly, over the summer, Hard Rock had this game on the board at Miami -7.5. Kudos to anyone who got that number before the season kicked off.

Hard Rock's total is at 48.5 (Under -115), with 78% of bets/86% of money on the Over.

SECOND UPDATE: Miami is up a tick in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 5 market. The Hurricanes opened -16.5 and are -17 as of 3:30 p.m. ET Tuesday.

"This is another game where there has been decent early action on both sides," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The number has gone back and forth between 16.5 and 17, while the total has dropped two points from the opener."

That total now sits at 48.5, after opening at 50.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 4 Miami (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) had ostensibly a bye vs. Central Michigan in Week 4. The Hurricanes rumbled to a 52-3 victory giving 41.5 points at home.

Clemson (3-1 SU/2-2 ATS) got belted at LSU 52-10 in Week 1. Since then, the Tigers have won three in a row, including a 28-10 Week 4 victory as 2.5-point road favorites vs. California.

Still, the Tigers are big home 'dogs in college football Week 5 odds. Circa opened Miami -16, and within the first three minutes Sunday afternoon, the 'Canes first went straight to -17.5, then backed up to -17 before settling at -16.5.

Circa's total was also on the move quickly, dropping straight from 50.5 to 49 a few minutes after opening.

Florida vs. Missouri Odds

LATEST UPDATE: At 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday, an hour or so before kickoff, Florida is -5.5, with BetMGM dealing -105 juice on both sides. The Gators opened -3.5 and got to -4.5 by Sunday evening/-5 by Monday morning.

Florida briefly topped out at -6 Monday, and the line has been a steady -5.5 at various juice since early Friday. The Gators are among BetMGM's most-bet teams on the spread today, in tickets and money.

"We're gonna need Mizzou +5.5, and we're gonna need this game to stay Under, too," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is at 57.5, up from a 56.5 opener and early-week low of 55.5.

THIRD UPDATE: Hard Rock Bets has the Gators -5.5 in college football Week 5 odds. Florida also opened -5.5, but made a couple trips to -4.5 (-115), on Sunday night and Tuesday afternoon.

That said, it's one-way traffic on Gators spread, at 90% of bets/96% of money. In fact, Hard Rock said Florida-Mizzou "is the most one-directional game on the board."

The total at 57.5, up from a 56.5 opener and on Thursday making its second trek to 57.5. It's all Over action so far, at 96% of bets/98% of money.

SECOND UPDATE: Florida is 5-point road chalk in Borgata Sports' college football Week 5 odds, as of 3:30 p.m. ET Tuesday. That's up from a Gators -4 opener.

"Florida is coming off a huge win that saw the public line up against the Gators," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "But I have a feeling it will be a different story in this game. The line has already moved toward Florida early.

"Florida may have the best offense in the country at this point."

Borgata's total is steady at 56.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Florida (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) is an early-season surprise, coming off a 4-8 SU/5-7 ATS campaign. In Week 4, the Gators were 3.5-point home favorites vs. then-No. 4 Ole Miss and smoked the Rebels 52-28.

Florida put up 35 points in the second half, including 28 afer Ole Miss pulled within three at 24-21 with 5:21 left in the third quarter. In two weeks' time, the Gators have gone from unranked to No. 21 and now all the way to No. 8.

No. 25 Missouri (3-1 SU/1-3 ATS) was dealt its first loss of the season in Week 4. The Tigers led Mississippi State 24-17 well into the fourth quarter, but gave up two touchdowns from there and lost 31-17 getting 3.5 points on the road.

Circa Sports opened Florida as a 3.5-point road favorite, with no movement early Sunday afternoon. However, on Sunday night, the Gators advanced to -4/-4.5, then Monday morning briefly shot to -6, before falling back to -5.5/-5.

The total did a short dance from 56 to 57, then back to 56 within a few minutes of opening.

LATEST UPDATE: Ohio State is -14.5 (even) in BetMGM's college football Week 5 odds, as of 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday, an hour before kickoff. The Buckeyes opened -14 and bottomed out at -13.5 a couple times early in the week, then toggled between -14/-14.5 ever since.

The latest move just occurred, from -14 (-120) to -14.5 (even). Ohio State is BetMGM's most-bet team on spread tickets today and is No. 2 in spread money.

"We're gonna need Iowa +14," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is at 46.5, up from a 44.5 opener and 45.5 this morning. But Magee said there's not much of a decision there.

THIRD UPDATE: The Buckeyes are 14.5-point road favorites in Hard Rock Bet's college football odds Week 5 market. In fact, Ohio State is painted to -14.5, with no moves this week.

Underdog Iowa is netting 73% of early spread tickets/69% of early spread money.

Hard Rock's total is up to 45.5 from a 44.5 opener, sitting at 45.5 most of the week. The Over is landing 66% of tickets/65% of money.

SECOND UPDATE: Borgata Sports has Ohio State -14 in Week 5 college football odds, as of 3:30 p.m. ET Tuesday. That matches the Buckeyes -14 opener.

"Ohio State couldn’t cover the closing number on Saturday against Illinois, while Iowa was able to squeak by Michigan, despite Bryce Underwood probably having his best game," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The early money has been on the Hawkeyes here."

The total is up to 45.5 from a 44.5 opener at Borgata.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 14 Iowa (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) got a semi-surprising walk-off victory at Michigan in Week 4. Trailing 19-14, the Hawkeyes got a 16-yard touchdown catch from Reece Vander Zee as time expired to win 20-19 catching 4.5 points.

No. 5 Ohio State (3-1 SU and ATS) lost a heartbreaker at Texas in Week 2, then came back with two easy wins vs. overmatched opponents. In Week 4, the Buckeyes pounded Illinois 42-19, but fell short of cashing as 25.5-point home favorites.

As noted above, Circa Sports tends to get hit with early sharp action on its numbers. That was definitely the case Sunday afternoon, when Ohio State opened -14.5 vs. Iowa in Week 5 college football odds.

The Buckeyes quickly nudged to -14, then went straight to -13 within 10 minutes. Circa's total made an early adjustment, as well, from 44 to 45.5 within 10 minutes.

By late Sunday night, Ohio State was stable at -13.5, with a total of 46.
