The Knicks began the second half of the NBA season by snapping a four-game losing streak in Thursday's 110-96 road blowout of the 76ers.

The Knicks are back at Madison Square Garden for an Atlantic Division battle with the Boston Celtics, who own the best record in the league at 44-12.

The Celtics picked up their 7th consecutive victory on Thursday by crushing the Bulls in Chicago, 129-112 as 8.5-point favorites.

New York jumped out to a 23-point halftime lead in Thursday's rout of Philadelphia as recently acquired Bojan Bogdanovic paced the Knicks with 22 points.

Boston has defeated New York three times this season, including a 108-104 victory in the season opener at the Garden.

Since winning seven straight home games from mid-January through early February, the Knicks are 1-3 in their past four contests at MSG.

The Celtics are riding a seven-game road winning streak, while posting a 4-2-1 ATS mark in this stretch.

Brooklyn Nets at Minnesota Timberwolves

BKN @ MIN Odds

  • Opening Point-Spread: Timberwolves -8
  • Opening Money-Line: Timberwolves -340
  • Opening Total: 215.5
  • Time: 9:00 p.m. ET

The Brooklyn Nets began February with an impressive 136-121 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers as short road underdogs.

Since that rout, the Nets have lost six of their last seven games with the lone win in this stretch coming against the San Antonio Spurs, who own the worst record in the Western Conference.

The Nets battle the Timberwolves at Target Center tonight, who sit atop the Western Conference at 39-17.

The Wolves have a quick turnaround following Friday's loss to Milwaukee as Minnesota has won four of six times on the second leg of a back-to-back this season.

However, Minnesota is 3-3 against the spread in those games, while the Over has cashed in five instances.

The only game that the Wolves finished Under the total with no rest this season came against the Nets in a 96-94 victory at Barclays Center in late January. Karl-Anthony Towns led Minnesota with 27 points, while Cam Thomas posted 25 points in the loss for Brooklyn.
