NBA All-Star Weekend takes center stage this Friday, and per usual, the festivities kick things off with the Rising Stars Challenge, followed by the three annual fan-favorite skill competitions on Saturday, and then the actual All-Star Game on Sunday.

Since abandoning the old East vs. West format and converting to a schoolyard pick style draft back in 2018, LeBron James has been in charge of selecting his team in all five All-Star Games, and he’s posted a perfect 5-0 record in those matchups. However, the majority of those affairs went down to the wire, highlighted by three of those wins coming by slim margins of three points or less.

This year, though, the NBA has added an extra wrinkle into the equation. In previous ASG’s under a similar format, LeBron and his opponent drafted teams several days before the event, which in theory, gave bettors a few days to dive into the matchup and evaluate the overall structure of each squad.

However, the league has stripped us of that ability heading into this one, considering now, the All-Star Game Draft is set to occur roughly 30 minutes before the actual contest, which makes it incredibly difficult to gather any hardcore analysis without a healthy amount of sheer speculation.

On the bright side, though, the later timing of the ASG Draft has actually led to bettors flocking to some of the more niche markets ahead of the NBA All-Star festivities. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at what people are betting on this weekend.
