West Coast Best Coast

At the season's midway point, the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles led BetMGM's 2025-26 NFC championship odds. But the second half of the season was all about the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

L.A. was atop NFC futures odds for a few weeks, but ultimately finished the regular season 12-5, two games behind Seattle (14-3). So the Seahawks moved to the conference favorite at +175, with the Rams close behind at +240.

Correspondingly, Seattle surpassed L.A. in Super Bowl odds.

Now, with Wild Card Weekend complete, the Seahawks are into +120. The Rams (13-5), coming off a Wild Card win at Carolina, are the +150 second choice.

Then there's a sizable gap to the remaining two teams. The Chicago Bears (12-6) moved from +1000 to +650, and the San Francisco 49ers (13-5) went from +1400 to +900.

In the Divisional Round, the Niners visit Seattle on Saturday night, and the Rams travel to Chicago on Sunday night.

Notable among that bunch is Green Bay (9-7-1), which after Week 14 was 9-3-1 and the +425 co-second choice with Seattle in NFC futures. But the Packers dumped their last four games, falling to the No. 7 seed, and face a road game vs. the Bears on Wild Card Weekend.

Carolina is the surprise of the bunch, winning the NFC South and the No. 4 seed. But the Panthers did so with a losing record, going 8-9 along with Tampa Bay and Atlanta. Carolina won the three-way tiebreaker to reach the playoffs.

The Detroit Lions (9-8) were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 17, yet still hold the advantage in tickets in BetMGM's NFC championship odds.

Among teams still alive, the ticket-count order at BetMGM:

  • Bears
  • 49ers
  • Rams
  • Seahawks

And the money order among remaining teams

  • Seahawks
  • 49ers
  • Bears
  • Rams

In fact, the Seahawks have almost four times more cash than the 49ers.
