What’s Going On?

You’re getting football in July! It’s Week 7 of the CFL season and that’s not even the coolest part about it. If you’re in the US, and you have to be for this special offer, Betfred is making it even better!

Once your new Betfred account is opened with the bonus code VIBONUS and after you bet $50, you’re going to get $200! You can use their deal to bet on the last undefeated team in the league. Those 6-0 Winnipeg Blue Bombers (4-2 ATS) are taking perfection on the road and heading to Edmonton to face the 2-4 Elks (3-3 ATS).

It’s another CFL home dog with Edmonton getting 7.5, a whopping +255 on the money line ML against the visitors who are -315. The combined points total is set at 48.

Why Should You Care?

When you can get a 4-1 return on your money, and that’s pretty much what the Betfred VIBONUS does, you take it. It’s also a bonus on top of getting football in July, on a Friday!

Teams don’t win six straight games without doing something right and these two have been on different flight paths since last season when the favorites were 11-3 and won it all while the home team is on a current 3-15 run. Wouldn’t you think there’s a play to be made in this one?

Will These Winnipeg Blue Bombers Have A 7-0 Start?

The Blue Bombers are not gaining a lot of yards or scoring a ton of points, but they are efficient on offence. Zach Collaros is leading a team completing over 72% of its passes with 9 TDs and only 3 interceptions. However, their yards per game, yards per pass, and yards per rush are all at the bottom of the league stat sheet.

A lot of the dominance that’s led to the 6-0 start comes with the defence. They haven’t allowed a rushing TD yet and have 9 picks. Opponents are barely scoring 17 points and completing less than 64% of their pass attempts. You’re supposed to win football games when the other team can’t score 18 points and all of what they do get has to come through the air.

Is 7.5 Just Too Many Points To Give A Home Team?

Since last year the Elks are 2-7 ATS in games at Commonwealth Stadium. Maybe 7.5 points aren’t that many. Edmonton has scored 13 points so far this season at home. Sure, it was only two games, but they allowed 75.

They don’t get yards, averaging less than 5 yards a play, and throw interceptions, they’ve already thrown 11 plus they’re at the bottom of most of the league’s stats on offence. If you assumed that means they’re better when they’re on the field protecting the end zone, you’d be wrong. Allowing over 36 points a game, giving up 12 rushing TDs, and letting the other team’s QB hook up on over 76 of their passes are all part of why they sit in last place in the West.

Open A Betfred Account And Head Into The Weekend On A Roll!

Winnipeg is 4-1 ATS in their last five and every team this season has scored 22 points or less. This game has the look, on paper, of a, we’re going to cash a lot of tickets, type affair.  Open yourself a Betfred account and use the bonus code VIBONUS so once you bet $50 you get $200.

Bet Winnipeg for the game, bet them for the 1st Half too! If by any chance, because they don’t play the game on paper, the Blue Bombers are not winning by more than 5 at halftime, bet them again for the 2nd Half. You really can never cash too many tickets.
