Baseball is about to get exciting in the next 48 hours. For starters, the season approximately 60% completed and the playoff picture is starting to take focus. The bottom half in the standing will be the sellers, the contenders will be the buyers. Milwaukee sits atop the National League Central by just a four-game margin and could potentially look to adding a piece or three. A few names come to mind for them to get in a trade, like Nelson Cruz, Josh Bell or even Ramon Laureano.

While the Brewers are a team we can comfortably see buying, the Red Sox are a different story. They started the year out terrible and proceeded to follow that up with a great stretch. Hindsight is 20/20, and after reviewing their “great” stretch, it was against weaker opponents. Their lone hot stretch this season came against the Reds, Athletics, over-rated Angels, over-rated White Sox, and even the Tigers. Since then, they have been in the dumps. Still, we are left to wonder if they will sell, buy, or sit still.

The Brewers will close out the series in Fenway, in what is slated as a 1:35 P.M ET start time. They will be looking to gain in their division while the Red Sox only playoff chance would be as a wild card. SI Sportsbook has the Milwaukee Brewers at -138 favorites on the money line.

The Red Sox are the home underdogs with a price tag +115. If you are confident on the Brewers, SI Sportsbook also has the run line options. The Brewers are -1.5, but that comes in as a +115 price. A Brewers run line bet of $100 would net a return of $115.

SI Sportsbook is also offering a welcome promotion when you sign up using the VIBONUS code. After you sign up and deposit for the first time, you are all set to place your first wager. If your first wager of at least $5 on odds -120 or greater, SI Sportsbook will deposit $100 in free bets into your account. The free bets are deposited after the qualifying bet has settled and expire after seven days. Free bet stakes are not included in your winnings.

The Red Sox have struggled much of the year on the mound and tomorrow should present more problems. The Red Sox will have Josh Winckowski on the mound and his 5.18 season ERA has steadily risen. In his last three starts, Winckowski has allowed 14 earned runs on 16 hits, including issuing eight free passes and serving up five home runs. Fenway is always a touch place for pitching, so we are expecting Josh Winckowski to have another tall task tomorrow.

Milwaukee will counter with Aaron Ashby. In 19 appearances, 13 starts, he owns a 4.38 season ERA. He has allowed seven earned runs in his last four starts spanning just 16.2 innings. With Ashby on the mound, the bullpen may be expected to eat up more innings. The Brewers came into this season with what was supposed to be one of the better bullpens, but ultimately, they might have fallen short of the expectations.

The total is set to 9.5 with the over laying -115 juice. The under is -105. The Brewers have gone over the total in seven of their last ten games, but the total has gone under in six of their last eight on the road. The Red Sox are 6-4 to the over in that same span, but over their last 20 games the over has hit 14 times.

SI Sportsbook will have all betting options available, whether it’s a live bet, money line, run line, total, or even prop bet, and the Brewers and Red Sox provide a great chance to take advantage of the welcome promotion. Remember to use the code VIBONUS at sign up. After signing up, place your first wager of at least $5 on odds of -120 or greater and if it settles as a win, SI Sportsbook will give you $100 in free bets.

Until next time, enjoy the ride.
