After finishing second in the West with a record of 51-21 SU, Phoenix kept that same train rolling with a similarly excellent start to the season, as the Suns opened with an impressive 27-8 SU and 18-17 ATS run – with 18 of those victories coming by 10+ PTS.

Despite the absence of Chris Paul, the Suns have carried that momentum all the way through the winter months too, considering the Suns boast records of 26-5 SU and 17-14 ATS across their last 31 games – while tallying 115.9 OPPG and allowing just 106.8 DPPG during that timeframe.

On the other hand, Toronto posted a relatively mediocre start to the season, as the Raptors kicked things off with a lackluster 23-23 SU and 25-21 ATS stretch – despite getting tagged as underdogs in 26 of those contests.

The Raptors have played solid basketball since mid-January though, considering the Raptors enter Friday riding a sturdy 12-7 SU and 11-8 ATS stretch – while generating 111.6 OPPG and allowing just 109.3 DPPG across that span.
