Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Bills -3
  • Opening moneyline: Bills -165/Dolphins +145
  • Opening total: Over/Under 48.5 points scored
  • Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)

UPDATE 7:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With kickoff 35 minutes out, DraftKings Sportsbook has the Bills at -2.5 (-125). Last Sunday, the Bills opened -1.5 and quickly advanced to -2.5/-3. Since Thursday, the line has toggled between -3/-2.5 a couple times.

Spread tickets and money are running 2/1 on the road favorite Bills. Further, moneyline tickets and dollars are just shy of 2/1 on Buffalo.

The total opened at 49.5 and peaked at 50.5 multiple times early in the week. By late Thursday night, the number hit its low of 48, and it's been fairly stable since then, save for stretch at 48.5 Saturday/today.

It's now at 48 (Over -115), with the Over landing 67% of bets/54% of money at DraftKings.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Buffalo advanced from -2.5 to -3 early in the week in TwinSpires' NFL odds Week 18 market. The Bills are drawing 62% of early spread bets/68% of early spread money.

"The Bills are essentially in a must-win situation, and the public is backing them. I don’t see any scenario where we don’t need the Dolphins in this spot," Lucas said.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (shoulder) is no longer listed as questionable, so he's a go in this huge game for both teams. However, Miami has several questionable starters on both sides of the ball, including Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) and Jaylen Waddle (ankle).

Tyreek Hill (ankle) is also questionable for Miami. Hill was limited in today's practice before having to abruptly leave because his house was on fire. No one was injured.

TwinSpires opened the total at 50 and is now at 49.5, with 58% of tickets on the Over/59% of money on the Under.

"Sharp play on Under 50," Lucas said.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Buffalo (10-6 SU/6-9-1 ATS) couldn't cover a big Week 17 number, but still notched its fourth straight win. The Bills, laying 14.5 points at home, held off New England 27-21.

Miami (11-5 SU/10-6 ATS) was on a 5-1 SU run entering Week 17, then ran into the Baltimore buzzsaw. The Dolphins trailed 28-13 at halftime, and it got worse from there as they got trucked 56-19 catching 3 points on the road.

In perhaps a modest surprise, The SuperBook opened Bills-Dolphins with Buffalo 2.5-point road chalk. The line moved to -3 within 20 minutes tonight.

"The combination of Miami getting blown out in Baltimore today and the Dolphins' mounting injury list makes this line what it is," Michaelson said. "If this game had been played a month ago, maybe Miami would have been favored, but not now. Buffalo sleepwalks against bad teams and plays well against good teams.

"And the wiseguys would be all over Buffalo at anything south of 3."

The total is on the move early, as well. It opened at 48.5 on The SuperBook's NFL Week 18 odds board and quickly advanced to 49/49.5/50.

  • Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With 40 minutes until kickoff, the Eagles are 5-point favorites at The SuperBook. That's down a tick from the -6 opener last Sunday night, but up from the -4.5 low point Thursday.

"Ticket count favors the Eagles, but it's a little more even than I would've thought. I would've thought the Giants would be a decent need for us, but they're not," SuperBook executive director John Murray said.

The total tumbled from a 45.5 opener to 41 by Monday at The SuperBook. It climbed to 42 by Wednesday, then today went to 43.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Philly is down a point this week in TwinSpires' NFL odds Week 18 market. The Eagles opened -6 and are now -5. Philadelphia is getting a modest majority 53% of spread tickets midweek, and New York is landing 60% of spread money.

"Sharp play on Giants +6," Lucas said.

The total tumbled from 45 to 42 over the past couple of days. The Under is seeing 56% of early tickets/75% of early money.

"Sharp and public play on Under 45 and Under 44," Lucas said.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Defending NFC champion Philadelphia (11-5 SU/5-10-1 ATS) is falling apart late in the season. In Week 17, as 12.5-point home faves, the Eagles stunningly lost outright to Arizona 35-31.

Philly is 1-4 SU/0-5 ATS in its last five games.

The Eagles now need to beat New York in Week 18 to have a shot at winning the NFC East. And that's no gimme. The Eagles and Giants just met in Week 16, with Philadelphia winning 33-25, but New York covering as a 14-point pup.

New York (5-11 SU/7-8-1 ATS) followed up by giving the surging L.A. Rams a tough Week 17 game. The Giants fell just short 26-25 as 6.5-point home underdogs. New York got a 94-yard Gunner Olszewski punt-return touchdown with 3:27 remaining. But the G-Men's 2-point attempt failed.

The SuperBook opened Eagles-Giants at Philly -6 and receded to -5.5 tonight.

"What a huge loss by the Eagles today against Arizona," Michaelson said. "With the Giants playing Tyrod Taylor, a competent NFL quarterback, this line was always gonna be very different to the Christmas line with Tommy Devito."

Indeed, New York was a 14-point underdog in Week 16. And there's another factor to consider, since Philly and Dallas will surely have the same kickoff time.

"Philly could also pull its starters if Dallas is beating up on Washington, since the Eagles essentially blew the division today," Michaelson said.

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: As kickoff looms, Dallas is a 13-point favorite in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 18 market. After opening -13.5, the Cowboys spent most of the week at various iterations of -3. Dallas is currently -13 (-115).

Spread ticket count is almost dead even, with a slight lean toward the Commanders. But spread money is almost 4/1 Cowboys.

The total opened at 49.5, plummeted to 44 by Monday, but rebounded to 47 multiple times the past couple days. It's still at 47, with tickets almost even and 60% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM moved Dallas from -13.5 to -13 Monday, then to -12.5 (-120) Thursday. Today, the Pokes are up to -13, while taking 53% of spread bets/70% of spread money.

The total opened at 48.5, bottomed out at 44.5 Monday and has since rebounded to 46.5. The Over is netting 77% of bets/90% of cash.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Dallas (11-5 SU/9-7 ATS) seemed destined for an NFC Wild Card slot after two straight setbacks. But thanks to Philadelphia's upset loss to Arizona, the Cowboys control their destiny in the NFC East.

In Week 17, Dallas barely escaped with a 20-19 victory over Detroit. The Cowboys gave up a last-minute TD and 2-point conversion, but the conversion was controversially negated on a penalty. Dallas subsequently stopped the second 2-point attempt to win, but didn't cover the 4.5-point spread at home.

Washington (4-12 SU/6-9-1 ATS) made things interesting against San Francisco by tying the game at 10 in the second quarter. But the Commanders didn't score again, losing 27-10 as 14-point home underdogs.

Dallas is nearly two-touchdown chalk, in a game in which it can clinch the NFC East.

"Washington is playing out the string, and Dallas got the gift of Philly's home loss today. So the Cowboys will be motivated to run 'em out and win the division," Michaelson said. "We try to not open road favorites higher than 13.5, because that's often essentially an automatic bet for the wiseguys on the 'dog. And the public won't bet the favorite until game day."

The spread hasn't moved tonight, while the total went from 48.5 to 48 and back to 48.5.

Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Packers -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Packers -160/Bears +140
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The SuperBook has the Packers -3 (even) as kickoff approaches. Green Bay opened -2.5 and got to -3.5 a couple times early in the week. Then the number spent the past couple days toggling between Pack -3/-2.5.

"This is one of our bigger needs. We actually need Green Bay big. We've taken some bigger bets on the Bears, at +3.5 and +3 (-120)," Murray said.

The total opened at 43.5 and slowly made its way to 46 by Saturday.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Green Bay spent the week toggling between -3.5/-3 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 18 market, at various juice. This afternoon, the Packers are -3 (-105), while early spread tickets and money run in the 2.5/1 range on the Bears.

Moneyline action leans toward underdog Chicago, too, at 63% of tickets/59% of cash. Bears-Packers is the second-most-bet game at BetMGM, by ticket count. Further, Chicago is taking the third-most spread tickets/second-most spread dollars.

BetMGM opened the total at 44, went to 44.5 Monday and back to 44 Tuesday. On Thursday, the line got to 45, where it remains this afternoon. Ticket count is 2.5/1 and money 8/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Chicago (7-9 SU/8-7-1 ATS) is finishing the season on a strong note. The Bears thumped Atlanta 37-17 in Week 17, easily cashing as 2.5-point home favorites. Chicago is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five games.

Green Bay (8-8 SU and ATS) kept its slim playoff hopes alive with a blowout Sunday night win. The Packers were 1-point 'dogs at Minnesota and breezed to a 33-10 victory.

The SuperBook took Bears-Packers off its NFL odds Week 18 market once Packers-Vikings kicked off tonight. Bears-Packers will go back up Monday morning.

Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: 49ers -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: 49ers -200/Rams +170
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Fran is 5.5-point home chalk minutes before kickoff, after opening -2.5 last Sunday at DraftKings. Spread ticket count is dead even, and 54% of money is on the Niners.

DK's total is at 40, having steadily dropped throughout the week from a 44 opener. The Over is taking 65% of bets, while 53% of cash is on the Under.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The 49ers will surely rest a host of players, but remain favorites on BetMGM's NFL Week 18 odds board. San Fran opened -3, got to -4.5 Monday, then Tuesday receded to -3 again.

San Francisco climbed back to -4.5 Wednesday and has been stable at -4 since mid-afternoon Wednesday. The Niners are netting 60% of early spread bets/66% of early spread money.

BetMGM opened the total at 42.5 and on Wednesday dropped to 41.5/41. It's still at 41, with bet count almost dead even and 80% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Francisco (12-4 SU/9-7 ATS) locked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a Week 17 win at Washington. The Niners took a while to get going, allowing the Commanders to tie the game at 10 in the second quarter.

But San Fran went on to win 27-10 and cash as 14-point chalk.

Los Angeles (9-7 SU/9-6-1 ATS) has won three in a row and six of seven (5-2 ATS) to move into No. 6 in the NFC. In Week 17, the Rams squeaked by the New York Giants 26-25 laying 6.5 points on the road.

San Francisco has nothing to play for this week, and L.A. is locked into a Wild Card slot. The Niners opened -2.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 18 market. Within two minutes, the first move was down to San Fran -1.5. But moves quickly followed to 49ers -2/-2.5/-3.

"There's a good chance this could be noncompetitive, with both teams locked into their seeds. As a result, we sort of defaulted to giving the home team a slight edge," Michaelson said.

Seattle Seahawks vs Arizona Cardinals Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Seahawks -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Seahawks -155/Cardinals +135
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Seattle hit DraftKings' NFL Week 18 odds board at -3 (-115) and briefly hit -3.5. The Seahawks then spent the week toggling between -3 and -2.5 at various juice. Pete Carroll's squad is now -2.5 (-120).

Spread tickets are running 2/1 and spread money almost 4/1 on the Seahawks. Moneyline tickets and dollars are 2/1-plus on Seattle.

The total opened at 47 and spent most of the week at 48. It's two-way play, with 54% of tickets on the Over/55% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM pegged the Seahawks 3.5-point favorites Sunday night and spent Monday/Tuesday at various iterations of -3. Wednesday brought a move to Seattle -2.5 (-120), but Seattle is back up to -3 (-105) this afternoon.

Underdog Arizona is nabbing 56% of early spread tickets/68% of early spread money.

The total is painted to 47.5 at BetMGM, with no movement this week. The Over is taking 79% of tickets, but 68% of cash is on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Seattle (8-8 SU/7-7-2 ATS) made Pittsburgh's offense look proficient, and in doing so put its playoff hopes in peril. The Seahawks closed as 4.5-point home favorites and lost outright 30-23.

Pete Carroll's troops are clinging to the seventh and final NFC postseason slot.

Meanwhile, Arizona sprung one of the bigger upsets of the season at Philadelphia. The Cards were catching 12.5 points and found themselves in a 21-6 halftime hole. But Kyler Murray and Co. made a huge second-half comeback and won 35-31 on a last-minute touchdown.

Seattle is a stable 3.5-point favorite vs. Arizona tonight at The SuperBook.

UPDATE 4:15 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Moments before kickoff, Los Angeles is laying 3.5 points at DraftKings. The Chargers opened -1 and got to -3.5 by midweek, with Chiefs sitting plenty of starters. L.A. returned to -3 today, then climbed back to -3.5.

Kansas City, resting starters and all, is taking 71% of spread bets/60% of spread money.

The total has been at 35.5 or 35 most of the week. It's now 35, with bets and money running 2/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: As the spread suggests, K.C. will be resting all its key players, gearing up for the postseason. BetMGM opened Los Angeles -1, quickly went to -1.5 Sunday night and by midweek was up to -3.5.

Still, perhaps surprisingly, ticket count is 5/1 and money 4/1 on the Chiefs. And on the moneyline, it's 9/1 tickets and 2/1 money Kansas City.

The total moved from 35.5 to 36 Monday, back to 35.5 Wednesday and is now 35. But ticket count is almost 6/1 and money 9/1-plus on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Kansas City (10-6 SU/8-7-1 ATS) clinched the AFC West in Week 17, but still doesn't look like a defending Super Bowl champion. The Chiefs did just enough to win and cover as 7-point home favorites vs. Cincinnati, with a 25-17 decision.

K.C.'s final 18 points came from the leg of Harrison Butker, on six field goals.

Los Angeles (5-11 SU/6-10 ATS) enters Week 18 on a four-game SU slide (1-3 ATS). That's due in no small part to not having QB Justin Herbert, who's season ended with a finger injury in Week 14. In Week 17, the Chargers lost at Denver 16-9 getting 3.5 points.

The Chiefs are locked into the AFC's No. 3 seed, so The SuperBook opened the Chargers -1. Los Angeles inched up to -1.5 within a couple minutes. The total opened at 38.5 and quickly tumbled to 36.5/36 on the way to 35.5 tonight.

Denver Broncos vs Las Vegas Raiders Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Raiders -3
  • Opening moneyline: Raiders -145/Broncos +125
  • Opening total: Over/Under 38 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 4:15 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Las Vegas opened -3 (even) at The SuperBook and adjusted to -3 flat Thursday. It's all Raiders today.

"We're gonna need Denver. Some of our most respected players are on the Raiders, and the public money is pouring in on the Raiders," SuperBook executive director John Murray said.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Raiders spent most of the week at various iterations of -2.5 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 18 market. This afternoon, though, brought moves to -3, then to -3 (-105). Spread tickets and dollars are in the 3/1 range on Las Vegas.

The total opened at 37.5, peaked at 38.5 a couple times early in the week and is now down to 37. Tickets and money are running 5/1 on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Both these teams were eliminated from playoff contention via Week 17 results.

Las Vegas (7-9 SU/9-7 ATS) lost to Indianapolis 23-20, but covered as a 3.5-point road pup. Denver (8-8 SU/7-8-1 ATS) beat the L.A. Chargers 16-9 giving 3.5 points at home.

The Broncos-Raiders line opened and remains Las Vegas -3 on The SuperBook's NFL Week 18 odds board. The total is stable, as well, at 38.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Jaguars -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Jaguars -190/Titans +160
  • Opening total: Over/Under 39.5points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: With 2.5 hours until kickoff, the Jaguars are laying 4 points on the road at BetMGM. Jacksonville opened -3.5 last Sunday, peaked at -5.5 Tuesday/Wednesday, backed up to -3.5 Thursday, then got to -4.5 Saturday.

That said, spread tickets are running 2.5/1 and spread money almost 4/1 on Tennessee.

The total opened at 40.5, slid to 39.5 by Thursday but is now up to 42.5. Ticket count is 3/1 and money almost 4/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Jags QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) returned to practice today, but was limited. Still, TwinSpires has moved Jacksonville from a -3.5 opener to -4.5 and now -5.5.

Early spread ticket count is running 2/1 and spread money 3/1 on Jacksonville.

"It's lopsided tickets and money on the Jags," Lucas said. "The Jags can clinch the AFC South and secure the No. 4 seed with a win. The Titans are also shorthanded on defense. I expect this line to continue moving in the Jags' favor."

TwinSpires' total opened and remains 40, with 53% of tickets on the Under/55% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Jacksonville (9-7 SU and ATS) halted an 0-4 SU and ATS purge to stay in the driver's seat for the AFC South title. And the Jags did it without Trevor Lawrence, who sat out with a shoulder injury.

Behind backup C.J. Beathard, the Jaguars rolled to a 26-0 win over Carolina as 3.5-point home faves.

New: Get the latest Bet365 casino bonus code here!

Tennessee (5-11 SU/6-10 ATS) is only in a spoiler role for the final week of the regular season. In Week 17, the Titans fell behind 20-0 in the second quarter and lost at Houston 26-3 getting 5.5 points.

The Jags-Titans line opened and remains Jacksonville -3.5 at The SuperBook. But Lawrence's status is uncertain at this point.

"Does C.J. Beathard vs Ryan Tannehill get the blood pumping?" Michaelson asked. "Jacksonville needs this game, but against teams with a pulse – not Carolina – the Jaguars have not looked good recently. We'll see where the market goes, but I don't think Jacksonville without Lawrence can lay that much on the road."

The Jags-Titans total opened at 39.5 and inched up to 40 tonight.

New Orleans is taking 60% of spread bets, while 61% of spread cash is on Atlanta.

The total went from 41.5 to 42.5 and back to 41.5, all on Tuesday. It's now at 42, with 63% of bets/80% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Both these teams need to win in Week 18, and even that might get either a postseason bid. New Orleans opened -4 in TwinSpires' NFL Week 18 odds market and made a stop at -3.5 on the way to -3.

This afternoon, though, the Saints rebounded to -3.5 (even). New Orleans is getting 73% of spread bets, while 56% of spread cash is on Atlanta.

"It's Pros vs. Joes. The Pros are siding with the Falcons, grabbing +4," Lucas said.

The total crept from 41.5 to 42, with 63% of bets/72% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New Orleans (8-8 SU/5-10-1 ATS) kept itself alive for the NFC South title with a big Week 17 road win. The Saints built a 20-0 lead and coasted to a 27-13 victory getting 2.5 points vs. Tampa Bay.

New Orleans is 3-1 SU and ATS in its last four games.

Atlanta (7-9 SU/5-11 ATS) had control of the NFC South a month ago. But an ill-timed 1-3 SU and ATS skid has turned the tables. In Week 17, the Falcons were never really in at Chicago, losing 37-17 as 2.5-point pups.

"We think at this point, the power rating for New Orleans is much higher. And the Saints looked really good against Tampa today," Michaelson said. "We're a little higher than the market right now, and we've actually been bet down. We just have very little faith in this Atlanta team. Another uninspired effort today in Chicago.

"Whoever wins would need Tampa to lose at Carolina in order to get into the playoffs."

As Michaelson alluded to, The SuperBook opened the Saints -5 tonight and dipped to -4.5 shortly thereafter. The total is steady at 41.5.

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Bucs are 4-point favorites this morning at BetMGM. That's down 1.5 points from the opener of Tampa -5.5 (-115), but up a tick from this morning's -3.5 low.

Ticket count and money are 3/1 in favor of the Buccaneers. Further, moneyline tickets are almost 3/1 and moneyline dollars nearly 4/1 on Tampa Bay.

The total opened at 37.5, went to 37 Friday and 36.5 Saturday. The Under is seeing 70% of tickets/58% of money.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Tampa Bay controls its own destiny: Win, and it wins the NFC South and the No. 4 seed. Lose, and the Bucs will need some help.

TwinSpires opened Tampa -5.5 and this afternoon fell back to -4.5. That said, spread tickets and money are running 2/1 on the Buccaneers, in a lightly bet game so far.

"Not many are touching this dumpster fire of a game. We'll need Carolina, but it won't be a big decision," Lucas said.

TwinSpires' total is steady at 37.5 on two-way play with a lean toward the Under, at 57% of bets/52% of money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Tampa Bay (8-8 SU/9-7 ATS) could've clinched the NFC South in Week 17. But nobody really wants to win the NFC South, it seems. The Bucs closed as 2.5-point home favorites vs. the Saints and tumbled 23-13.

Carolina (2-14 SU/5-10-1 ATS) was a 3.5-point road 'dog against a Jacksonville squad minus Trevor Lawrence (shoulder). But the Panthers came up with a big doughnut, losing 26-0.

Tampa Bay hit The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 18 market as a 5.5-point favorite tonight. There's been no movement on the spread, and the total is also stable at 37.5.

UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Lions are up a tick since Friday (see below update), sitting at -4 on BetMGM's NFL Week 18 odds board. Spread tickets are 3/1 and spread money 2.5/1 on Detroit.

The total reached its high point of 47 this morning. Ticket count is 3/1-plus and money 6/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM opened the Lions -4 Sunday and headed up to -5/-5.5 Monday. But the line has been in decline since, getting to Detroit -3.5 Thursday and now sitting at -3.5 (-105).

Still, spread tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Lions. Further, moneyline tickets are nearing 3/1 and moneyline dollars are just shy of 2/1 on Detroit.

The total opened at 44 and has been back-and-forth this week. On Monday, it got as high as 46.5, and on Thursday, it receded to 45.5. It's now up to 46, with tickets running 8/1 and money beyond 9/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Detroit (11-5 SU and ATS) was dealt a heartbreaking loss on a controversial call in Week 17 at Dallas. The Lions scored a touchdown with 23 seconds left to pull within 20-19. They then decided to go for the 2-point conversion, and succeeded when Taylor Decker caught Jared Goff's pass.

However, Decker – an offensive lineman – was penalized for illegal touching, as referees said he didn't report as eligible. Detroit contended otherwise, but to no avail. The Lions were moved back 5 yards and could've kicked the extra point, likely forcing overtime.

But Detroit set up to go for 2 again, and Dallas was called for offsides. So ball was moved inside the 4-yard line. And the 2-point attempt failed, so the Lions lost 20-19 as 4.5-point 'dogs.

Minnesota (7-9 SU/7-6-3 ATS) was still in the playoff picture heading into its Week 17 Sunday night game. But the Vikes had nothing for Green Bay, getting rolled at home 33-10 as 1-point faves.

The Vikings-Lions game came off The SuperBook's board once Packers-Vikings kicked off. Vikings-Lions will go back up Monday morning.

Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Bengals -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Bengals -220/Browns +180
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Cincy got to -8.5 this morning, after opening -4 a week ago at BetMGM (see below update). The Bengals are now -7.5, with Cleveland getting 63% of spread bets/Cincinnati drawing 68% of spread money.

And although the Browns will have a lot of backups on the field today, moneyline tickets and cash are in the 9/1 range on Cleveland.

The total is now at 37, down a half-point since Friday and down 3 points from the 40 opener. Ticket count is 3/1 and money 9/1 on the Under.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Bengals hit their peak this afternoon of -7.5 (-105) at BetMGM, then backed up to -7 (-115). That's after Cincy opened at -4 and steadily climbed, with Cleveland locked into the AFC's No. 5 seed and sitting plenty of key starters, including Joe Flacco.

Spread ticket count is still almost 2/1 on the Browns, but spread money is nearly 3/1 on the Bengals. Cleveland is taking almost all the early moneyline tickets and dollars, despite planning to play a lot of backups.

The total opened at 40 and by Wednesday was down to 37.5, where it remains this afternoon. Ticket count is 2/1-plus and money 8/1 on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cleveland (11-5 SU and ATS) is likely becoming a team others will not want to face in the postseason. Behind a revived Joe Flacco, the Browns are on a 4-0 SU and ATS run. Going back further, Cleveland is on sprees of 7-2 SU and 8-2 ATS.

In the Week 17 Thursday nighter, the Browns rolled to a 37-20 victory laying 7 points at home against the New York Jets.

Cincinnati (8-8 SU/6-8-2 ATS) made an inspired late charge minus Joe Burrow, but won't make the playoffs. In Week 17, the Bengals played Kansas City tough, but lost 25-17 as 7-point road pups.

Cleveland is locked into the AFC's No. 5 seed, so it has nothing to play for in Week 18. As such, the Bengals opened -2 and sprinted to -4.5 tonight at The SuperBook, with multiple stops along the way.

The total went the other way, quickly sliding from 43.5 to 40, with stops at 41.5/40.5.

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Jets-Patriots total is now at a minuscule 29 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 18 market. That's down 4.5 points from last Sunday's 33.5 opener, and it's down a point just today.

The Under is seeing 64% of bets/90% of money.

Since Friday (see below update), the Patriots are up a tick to -2 at BetMGM. New England is attracting 84% of spread bets/91% of spread dollars. On the moneyline, it's 59% bets/89% money on the Pats.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Patriots opened -1.5 Sunday in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 18 market, then peaked at -2.5 Monday. New England then toggled between -2/-1.5 a couple of times midweek before stabilizing at -1.5 Wednesday afternoon.

Spread ticket count is 4/1 and spread money 9/1 on Bill Belichick's squad, in what could be his final game for the Pats. On the moneyline, ticket count is close, but money is 4/1 New England.

BetMGM's total could end up being the lowest of the NFL season. It opened at 33.5 and by Monday afternoon plunged to 30.5. The total touched 31 a couple of times Wednesday, and today is back to 30.5. The Under is landing 58% of tickets/80% of money.

Weather is a key factor with the total. There's a 90% chance of snow in Foxborough on Sunday, along with winds of 10-20 mph. Jets-Patriots is the second-most-bet Under at BetMGM this week, interestingly behind Bills-Dolphins.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New England (5-11 SU/5-10-1 ATS) is finishing off a dismal season, perhaps Bill Belichick's last with the team. In Week 17, the Patriots made things interesting at times against Buffalo. Ultimately, the Pats fell 27-21, but covered as hefty 14.5-point road underdogs.

New York (6-10 SU/5-10-1 ATS) is also playing out the string on a difficult season. In Week 17, the Jets fell at Cleveland 37-20 catching 7 points.

The SuperBook still has New England at its -1.5 opener. But the total is already down 1.5 points tonight, falling from 34.5 to 33.5, then 33.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts Odds

UPDATE 6:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With kickoff two hours out, Houston is 1-point chalk in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 18 market. On Sunday, this matchup opened at Colts -1.5 (-105), but by Tuesday, the line jumped the fence to Texans -1.

Houston went to -2 this morning, then returned to -1 at lunchtime. Spread tickets and money are approaching 3/1 on the Texans. On the moneyline, Houston is seeing 53% of tickets/73% of money.

BetMGM opened the total at 46.5, peaked at 48 mid-Monday morning. The number has been at 47.5 since late Monday morning. The Over is taking 62% of tickets/79% of money.

Nico Collins Anytime TD (+110) is taking the most tickets of any offering in tonight's player props markets, with bettors liking the Texans wideout. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is also seeing a lot of bets, in the Player to Score the First TD market.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: This line has jumped the fence at TwinSpires. After opening at Colts -1, it moved to pick on its way to Texans -1.5. This afternoon, it nudged to Texans -1.

Early spread bettors are leaning toward Houston, at 55% of tickets/66% of money.

"A mix of public and sharp play on the Texans got this line over the fence," Lucas said.

The total is up a tick from 47 to 47.5, with 65% of tickets/61% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Indianapolis (9-7 SU/10-6 ATS) would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. But it doesn't, so this Week 18 showdown with Houston is pivotal. In Week 17, the Colts edged Las Vegas 23-20, failing to cash as 3.5-point favorites.

Houston (9-7 SU/8-8 ATS) needed a win in Week 17, and will need another in Week 18 to have a shot at postseason play. The Texans rolled over Tennessee 26-3 giving 5.5 points at home

Indy opened as the slimmest possible favorite at -1, and The SuperBook remains there.

"This being a standalone game will positively impact handle," Michaelson said. "I could see the public betting Houston as a short 'dog. The Texans fit the bill: a team with an exciting offense and young QB."

That would be rookie standout C.J. Stroud, aiming to get Houston into the playoffs.

The Texans-Colts total nudged down a half-point, from 48 to 47.5.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Steelers -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Steelers -195/Ravens +165
  • Opening total: Over/Under 39 points scored
  • Time: 4:30 ET Saturday (ESPN/ABC)

UPDATE 3:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With kickoff 75 minutes out, the Steelers are -3 (-105) at Caesars Sports. Pittsburgh has been at least a 3-point favorite all week, with Baltimore set to rest Lamar Jackson and many others.

The Steelers opened -3 Sunday and quickly went to -3.5, then touched -4 on Monday and Wednesday. Caesars moved to Pittsburgh -3.5 Thursday, and the line has been at various iterations of -3 since Friday morning.

The Steelers are netting 61% of spread tickets/65% of spread money. On the moneyline, action leans toward Pittsburgh, though not quite as much so, at 55% of tickets/59% of money.

Along with the Ravens sitting starters, foul weather is significantly impacting the total. It's currently snowing, though it could turn to rain, with winds of 10-15 mph. It's 36 degrees, but it feels like 29.

Caesars opened at 39, tumbled to 36.5 by Monday and steadily continued downward all week. It's now at a low of 33.5, with 70% of tickets/52% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: With Baltimore locked into the top seed, NFL MVP odds favorite Lamar Jackson is sitting out Saturday. Surely a host of other key Ravens will rest, as well.

As such, Pittsburgh – fighting for an AFC Wild Card bid – opened as a 2.5-point favorite in TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 18 market. And the number has since advanced to Steelers -4 twice. The second time occurred this afternoon, when the Ravens confirmed what everyone expected: that Jackson would sit.

The Steelers then moved from -3.5 to -4. Baltimore is still seeing 53% of spread tickets, while 63% of spread money is on Pittsburgh.

"Sharp play on Steelers -2.5 and -3, with the Ravens resting Lamar," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total was also impacted by lineup adjustments. TwinSpires opened at 38.5, was at 36 earlier today and dipped to 35.5 after the Jackson news. The Under is taking 60% of tickets/70% of money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore (13-3 SU/11-5 ATS) wrapped up the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed by boat-racing Miami in Week 17. The Ravens rumbled to a 56-19 victory as 3-point home favorites. Baltimore is on a 6-0 SU/5-1 ATS roll.

Pittsburgh (9-7 SU and ATS) can still reach the playoffs, but is on the outside looking in at the moment. The Steelers beat Seattle 30-23 getting 4.5 points on the road.

With Baltimore having nothing to play for in Week 18, The SuperBook opened Pittsburgh -2.5. That number advanced to Steelers -3/-3.5 within an hour tonight. The total was declining in that same time frame, from a 39 opener to 38.5/38/37.5.
