What’s Going On?

There’s an important game on the CFL’s Week 8 schedule and it could be important to you for more than one reason. The 4-1 BC Lions (2-3 ATS) head to Saskatchewan to face the 4-3 (4-3 ATS) Roughriders and Caesars has a special bonus perfect for this matchup.

Open a Caesars account for this game and when you use their bonus code VIMAXSPORT15 Caesars gives you a Risk-FREE wager of up to $1,500. You must be a resident of the USA to be eligible.

This may be the perfect spot for using that bonus. The home team is getting a point and a half and is +110 on the money line. If you hop on the visitors, BC is -130 without the points and the total is 49.

Why Should You Care?

These two teams are both over .500. There are only three more of the nine CFL clubs that can say that. The bonus Caesars is offering is another reason to pay attention to this game. That VIMAXSPORT15 Bonus makes you eligible for a Risk-FREE $1,500 wager. That’s a pretty good way to start your sports betting weekend.

Canadian Football has a unique playoff format that can allow four of the six teams to come from the same division. That makes this West Division contest an important game even this early in the season. This is a matchup of the league’s highest-scoring offence against the team that leads the league in a handful of defensive statistics.

Are The Lions As Good As Their Record Says?

BC’s only loss came to the undefeated Blue Bombers and although they haven’t been covering ATS consistently, they’re as good a football team as their record indicates. Even though they’re scoring fewer points every game since Week 1, they still lead the league in almost every statistical category. Nathan Rourke has a QBR of 123 and some other fabulous numbers including an almost 80% completion rate.

On the other side of the ball, the Lions sit at the top of the league stats in numerous columns and are allowing only 242 yards a game while their opponents have only scored 4 TDs through the air.

Are The Roughriders As Mediocre As Their Record Indicates?

At 4-3, Saskatchewan is hanging tough for one of those six CFL playoff spots but the combined record of their opponents so far this season is a paltry 8-16. The passing game, led by Cody Fajardo has one of the lowest yards per game averages in the league. It’s not much better when he handoffs as the running game is getting less than four yards a rush.

When you’re up against the Riders, expect that defence to play hard. It’s one of the team’s strengths and leads the league in sacks, and picks, plus they have allowed just one rushing touchdown so far this year.

Open A Caesars Account And Make Sunday Night Alright!

In a few weeks, we’ll be talking about football every Friday night when the NCAA schedule kicks off. Until then, this CFL action is a great way to pad your bankroll for the weekend.

Use the promo code VIMAXSPORT15 when you open your new Caesars account. That’ll get you that Risk-FREE wager of up to $1,500. Use it to take the points. While most see this game as a possible shootout, the Riders play well at home. Their defence fell apart in the 2nd half last game and they’ll look to improve on that performance.

The Lions QB has played well for sure but when you score fewer points every single game, for 5 games in a row, that’s alarming. Could Rourke and BC snap that streak tonight? Of course, they can! They call it gambling for a reason. Here’s hoping they don’t. Also, if this game is high scoring early, and goes over the number for the 1st, throw a wee bit of a unit on the under for the 2nd half. Neither of these teams has played well after the break.
