2026 College Football Odds for Week 1

Oklahoma vs. Michigan Odds

  • Opening point spread: Oklahoma -5.5
  • Opening moneyline: Oklahoma TBA/Michigan TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 16 Michigan is easily the luckiest team on the planet coming out of Week 1. The Wolverines were a dead-to-rights 12-7 upset loser to Western Michigan on Saturday night, as 27.5-point home favorites.

But after a desperation Hail Mary as time apparently expired, officials put one more second on the clock. The second prayer was answered on Bryce Underwood's 47-yard TD pass to a leaping JJ Buchanan, giving Michigan (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) a shocking 13-12 victory.

No. 10 Oklahoma (1-0 SU and ATS) had no such issues against UTEP on Saturday. The Sooners rumbled to a 51-0 beatdown laying 40.5 points at home.

Circa Sports' opening numbers often draw sharp money. At 3 p.m. ET Sunday, Circa opened Oklahoma a 5.5-point road favorite in College Football Week 2 odds, with no eary movement.

However, the total opened at 43 and quickly advanced to 44 at Circa.

Oregon vs. Oklahoma State Odds

  • Opening point spread: Oregon -22
  • Opening moneyline: Oregon TBA/Oklahoma State TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 58 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (ESPN)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 2 Oregon (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) got way more than anticipated from unranked Boise State in Week 1. The Ducks rallied from a 17-7 late-second-quarter deficit and held on for a 34-27 victory, miles short of covering the 24.5-point spread.

Oklahoma State got an even ruder awakening to the 2026 season. The Cowboys closed as 13.5-point favorites at Tulsa and never led in a 24-10 loss.

With that outcome firmly in mind, oddsmakers again made Oregon hefty double-digit chalk. Circa opened the Ducks -22.

Arizona vs. BYU Odds

Arizona @ BYU Betting Odds

  • Opening point spread: BYU -8.5
  • Opening moneyline: BYU TBA/Arizona TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 51.5 points scored
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 14 BYU (1-0 SU and ATS) had no trouble running it up on an FCS opponent in Week 1. The Cougars rolled to a 63-7 victory giving a massive 50.5 points at home vs. Utah Tech.

Arizona (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) likewise faced little resistance from an FCS outfit. The Wildcats topped Northern Arizona 35-7, but fell short of cashing as 32.5-point home favorites.

On Sunday afternoon, Circa Sports opened BYU -8.5 in the college football odds Week 2 market. That number was steady in the first hour, but the total dropped from 51.5 to 50.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: This matchup could have much larger ramifications late in the season, in determing which Group of 6 team makes the College Football Playoff.

If Week 1 showed anything, it's that Boise State (0-1 SU/1-0 ATS) is certainly an early contender for that slot. The Broncos went to No. 2 Oregon as 24.5-point underdogs, yet led 17-7 late in the second quarter. Boise State was in it throughout, but ultimately fell short 34-27.

Memphis already has two games under its belt, and a 2-0 SU and ATS mark, as well. The Tigers got a notable Aug. 29 win at UNLV, 27-21 catching 4.5 points, then beat Arkansas State 42-24 laying 10.5 points at home on Saturday.

Circa Sports on Sunday opened Boise State -8.5 in Week 2 college football odds. Within just a few minutes, the Broncos advanced to -9.5.

Ohio State vs. Texas Odds

  • Opening point spread: Texas -2
  • Opening moneyline: Texas TBA/Ohio State TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 48 points scored
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: This is the Game of the Year for the moment, and it's on the College Football Week 2 odds board.

No. 1 Ohio State (1-0 SU and ATS) got an easy tuneup in Week 1. The Buckeyes bashed Ball State 56-3, covering as massive 50.5-point home favorites.

Similarly, No. 5 Texas (1-0 SU and ATS) opened its campaign with a wipeout win. The Longhorns thumped Texas State 59-7 giving 29.5 points at home.

Circa Sports followed by making Texas a slim 2-point favorite for the Saturday night showdown in Austin. However, within minutes of opening on Sunday afternoon, the line went from Texas -2 to pick 'em.

Iowa State vs. Iowa Odds

  • Opening point spread: Iowa -14.5
  • Opening moneyline: Iowa TBA/Iowa State TBA
  • Opening total: Over/Under 41 points scored
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (NBC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 22 Iowa (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) got out of the 2026 gate with an easy win and cover. The Hawkeyes blanked Northern Illinois 40-0 as 31.5-point home favorites.

Iowa State (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) eased into the season with an FCS opponent. The Cyclones dumped Southeast Missouri State 38-10, just shy of covering as 29.5-point home faves.

Oddsmakers were much more impressed with Iowa. On Sunday, the Hawkeyes opened -14.5 in Circa Sports' college football odds Week 2.
