Week 3 of college football is underway. Although we may not have the biggest matchups on deck for this week, there are a few major movers that are worth keeping an eye on. All odds movements are tracked from the previous Sunday at noon to today (Friday, 9/18) unless otherwise stated.

LSU vs. Ole Miss (LSU 58% to LSU 59%)

This market saw a lot of movement this week as LSU head coach Lane Kiffin teased that his starting quarterback Sam Leavitt was doubtful for the matchup. Even though most of the college football world viewed this as gamesmanship rather than an actual injury designation, we saw the Polymarket odds go from LSU 58% to LSU 55% on 9/17 at 5:00 AM EST.

Since Leavitt has been upgrade to questionable from doubtful, the probability has since returned to what it was last week. Check out our LSU vs. Ole Miss prediction and start trading today.

Miami (FL) vs. Wake Forest (Miami FL 95% -> 93%)

This odds movement is more-so chalked up to normal market movement rather than an event or injury designation. In these markets where there is a heavy favorite, a movement from 95% to 93% means much less than a more even market where a movement from 51% to 49% represents a team shifting from a favorite to an underdog.

Houston vs. Texas Tech (Texas Tech 77% -> 74%)

This probability movement is a rather significant one moving in favor of the underdog. This movement is even further exaggerated when you look at the pricing from last Saturday. Texas Tech had as high as a 93% chance to beat Houston looking back to last week. Texas Tech's less-than-convincing win against Oregon State clearly leaves traders with some questions about the Red Raiders. This is evident with the market moving nearly 20 points in favor of the Houston Cougars. Clemson vs. North Carolina (Clemson 66% -> 60%)

Another year, another Clemson disappointment. There is no telling what the probability of this game would have been before the season, but with North Carolina boasting a 2-0 record and Clemson getting blown out in horrific fashion against LSU, we now see Clemson with a mere 60% chance to win this game. While the probabilities have been rather consistent since monday, traders have had a major change in sentiment since last week with regards to the Clemson Tigers.

West Georgia vs. East Tennessee State (East Tennessee State 77% -> 88%)

I know this may not be the biggest matchup ever, heck it is not even an FBS matchup. However, if you are looking to beat the closing line or probability on matchups, the FCS will be where you want to look. Although liquidity could be an issue, low volume allows users to get potentially better probabilities than on bigger primetime matchups in the FBS.

SMU (48%) vs. Louisville (53%) (No Change in Probability)

Looking at this ACC matchup and the probabilities dating back to 9/13, there is no change. However, there is an interesting change when you go back to over a week ago. On September 9th, Louisville had as high as a 94% chance to win, presenting major value on SMU.

This is likely because of a lack of liquidity in the market, but it is still worth noting when talking about major probability changes.
