INDIANAPOLIS COLTS vs. TENNESSEE TITANS BETTING PREDICTION

The Titans have been on quite the rollercoaster to start the season, as the Titans opened with back-to-back losses to the Giants and Bills, while scoring just 13.5 PPG and allowing 31 PPG in those two contests. However, Tennessee has pulled its weight on both sides of the ball since Week 2, as the Titans scored 23 PPG and allowed just 19 DPPG across consecutive victories over the Raiders, Colts, and Commanders prior to their Week 6 bye.

The Colts, on the other hand, have looked terrible on the offense in their first five matchups with Matt Ryan under center, as Indy averaged a league-worst 13.8 PPG and turned the ball over 11 times across a 2-2-1 skid to open the season, mostly thanks to Ryan’s seven interceptions and three lost fumbles during that span. However, Indy’s offense finally came to life in last week’s home matchup against Jacksonville, as the Colts escaped with a 34-27 come-from-behind victory in their latest affair.

I’ll back Tennessee to cover here, as the Colts’ offense looked pretty good in their second go-around against Jacksonville last week, however, the Colts have still scored 20 PTS or less in five-of-six matchups this season, and I expect their struggles to resurface on the road against a Titans’ defense that allowed 22 PTS or less in four of their first five contests.

Score Prediction: Titans 24, Colts 20
Best Bet: Titans -2.5 (-110)

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS BETTING ANALYSIS

The Colts’ offense averaged 26.5 PPG and turned the ball over just 19 times with Carson Wentz under center last season, which ranked Top 10 in the league in both departments, as Wentz completed 62% of his passes for 3,563 YDS and a 27-7 INT ratio in his first campaign with Indy.

However, the Colts still underachieved in the final standings, so they decided to bring in 37-year-old veteran Matt Ryan to help guide the ship, and so far, it’s been a disaster, as the Colts’ offense currently ranks 27th in scoring at 17.2 PPG, and they’ve already turned the ball over 11 times through six games.

It's easy to look at this Colts squad as a group still figuring things out with a new signal-caller under center, however, it’s tough for a team to make significant progress when their quarterback throws seven picks and fumbles the ball 11 times in the first six weeks of the season.

TENNESSEE TITANS BETTING ANALYSIS

The Titans stumbled out to a surprisingly slow start to the season, as Tennessee followed up last year’s 12-5 campaign with consecutive losses to the Giants and Bills, while scoring just 13.5 PPG on 273 YPG, and defensively, allowing 31 PPG on 404 YPG across those two contests.

However, Tennessee has flipped the script since starting 0-2, as the Titans generated 23 PPG across three straight victories over the Raiders, Colts, and Commanders, which is typically more than enough to outlast this struggling Indy offense.
