NBA Western Conference finals odds for 2026 start out just as 2025 odds did. The defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder are the unsurprising favorite.

But perhaps surprising is the Houston Rockets as the No. 2 choice.

2025-26 NBA Western Conference Finals Odds

OKC More than OK

UPDATE SUNDAY, JUNE 29: The Oklahoma City Thunder are coming off an NBA Finals victory over the Indiana Pacers. That series win was preceded by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference finals.

And prior to that, the Thunder led the NBA in the regular season with a 68-14 record. So naturally, OKC is the +140 favorite in BetMGM's NBA Western Conference futures odds.

At No. 2 is the Houston Rockets, who recently made a blockbuster trade with the Phoenix Suns to acquire Kevin Durant. The Rockets are into +450.

The Los Angeles Lakers, behind LeBron James and Luka Doncic, are the +900 co-third choice in 2025-26 Western Conference odds, joined by Minnesota. That's despite the Lakers losing to the T-Wolves 4-1 in Round 1 of the 2024-25 playoffs.

The Denver Nuggets round out the top five at +1000.
