Oklahoma vs. Gonzaga Predictions

With Oklahoma missing its second-leading scorer, it will be tough to keep pace with the Bulldogs here. The Sooners can still score buckets, but it will be tough for Oklahoma to touch 80 in this game without De'Vion Harmon. Gonzaga should reach 80 here.

The point spread is a bit difficult, as Oklahoma losing by 10 points sounds a bit more accurate than the given 14.5. Gonzaga was split against the spread for a majority of the season as well. The point total market seems to be a better play, with the OVER as the best bet.

Gonzaga should touch 80 points, averaging over 90 a game, while Oklahoma should keep the game within 10-15 points. Gonzaga is the better team though, so if you fancy the spread then ride with the Bulldogs and their top-ranked offense nationally.

Betting Stats & Analysis - Oklahoma Sooners

Straight Up - SU, Against the Spread - ATS, Over-Under (O/U)

Oklahoma has failed to cover the spread in seven of its last eight games, only winning twice in that span. Oklahoma has gone OVER the point total in four of its last six games.

Despite the Sooners leaning UNDER all season long (12-14), the recent trends back the suggested bet for Oklahoma failing to cover but still going OVER the point total. The offense is ranked 88th nationally for points scored and total efficiency, along with a good 74.7% free throw percentage that ranks 55th.

Betting Stats & Analysis - Gonzaga Bulldogs

Gonzaga is essentially split across the board, going 13-12-1 on the ATS and 14-13 on the O/U this season. Gonzaga has scored 86 points or more in seven of its last eight games, and should see 85 against the Sooners. Gonzaga has also gone OVER the point total in six of its last eight games.

It's the only school to average over 90 points a game, featuring two Top 10 NBA Draft prospects for 2021. The Bulldogs were given a 154 total against Norfolk State in Round 1 that went UNDER despite Gonzaga finishing with 98 points. Expect a similar offensive performance from Gonzaga and expect Oklahoma to score more than 55 points.

Key Players to Watch

Austin Reaves is the best player Oklahoma has, doing everything for them with soldi average totals across the board. With De'Vion Harman out, Brady Manek is the next leading scorer. The big man can shoot and stretch the Bulldog defense, a solid matchup against Drew Timme.

Gonzaga is loaded all over the court, beginning with Corey Kispert. He and Timme average 18 points or more per game, while Jalen Suggs and Joel Ayayi average 11.9 points or more as well.
