Betting on the Nashville Predators
Music City boasts its fair share of famous country music stars. Yet, when it comes to legal betting on sports, the NHL’s Nashville Predators still command one of the biggest spotlights in town.
Nashville Predators Overview
The Nashville Predators entered the NHL as an expansion team ahead of the 1998/1999 regular season. They play in the league’s Central Division as part of the Western Conference. This has always been the case since that inaugural season.
Nashville has qualified for the NHL playoffs 14 times since 2004. The deepest postseason run took the Predators to the brink of a Stanley Cup Championship in 2017. Nashville came up short in the NHL Finals in a 4-2 series loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Famed NHL player and coach Peter Laviolette Jr. was at the helm for that run.
The quest for a Stanley Cup title continues behind an organization that remains committed to winning year after year. To their credit, the Predators won the Central Division regular season title in both 2018 and 2019.
A few of the biggest NHL stars that play or played for Nashville include Roman Josi, Shea Weber and Pekka Rinne.
Playing in the Central, natural rivalries have formed against the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks as division mainstays. You could also add the Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild to that list in light of heated competition in recent years.
One of the easiest ways to wager on a Nashville game is through the posted betting line for a game’s total combined score. NHL total lines normally range between 5.5 and 6.5 goals. A winning wager successfully predicts the OVER or UNDER on that particular game’s total line.
🏒 Betting on the Nashville Predators in Tennessee 🏒
Legal sports betting was first launched in Tennessee in November of 2020. As a unique twist in the legal US industry, the Volunteer State only offers legal online sports betting through the use of mobile sportsbook apps. There are no land-based casinos or other gaming venues in the state.
Betting on the Nashville Predators across the state is supported by the industry’s biggest US-based sportsbook operators. This list includes FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM and Caesars Sportsbook.

Nashville Predators Partnership With Sportsbooks
As a popular NHL betting team, more than a few US-based sportsbooks have been interested in sponsoring the Predators. In an effort to make a big splash in the legal Tennessee sports betting market, Bally’s Corporation stepped up to the plate.
In October of 2021, Bally’s became an Official Sports Betting Partner of the team. This regional gaming and entertainment company also assumed the role as the Official Free-to-Play partner of the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena.
This was Bally’s first partnership with an NHL team. It was also the company’s first sports team partnership in Tennessee.
