2026 NCAA Tournament Championship Odds: Michigan the New March Madness Favorite
NCAA Tournament odds for 2026 have been on the board since even before Florida beat Houston in last season's title game. And both of those teams are in the mix so far this season.
However, as the calendar hits mid-February, it's been Michigan and Arizona atop 2026 March Madness odds. And Arizona recently overtook Michigan as the favorite.

2025-26 NCAA Tournament Odds
Rising Arizona
LATEST UPDATE: Top-ranked Arizona got out to a thoroughly impressive 23-0 start this season. Finally, in Game 24 on Feb. 9, the Wildcats took their first loss.
On the road at the always tough Allen Fieldhouse, Arizona came up short vs. No. 9 Kansas 82-78.
Still, as of Feb. 11, the Wildcats are +360 favorites in BetMGM's NCAA Tournament futures odds. Arizona opened +4000 and was into +700 by the beginning of January.
Meanwhile, in early February, Michigan (22-1) slipped slightly from +400 favorite to +450 second choice. The Wolverines, who had been favored since late November, are now +475, after opening +2500.
As of Jan. 26, BetMGM was just a small loser on an Arizona championship. However, there's now a $50,000 bet on Wildcats +450, for a potential win of $225,000. That's helped elevate Arizona to BetMGM's top liability.
Duke (22-2) is another notable upward mover on the March Madness odds board. On Jan. 26, the Blue Devils were the +1100 co-fourth choice, along with Houston. On Feb. 2, Duke was the +750 third choice, and the Blue Devils remain third at +650 as of Feb. 11.
UConn (22-2) saw its winning streak snapped at 18 games on Feb. 6. The Huskies tumbled at St. John's 81-72, their first setback since a Nov. 19 loss to Arizona. Over the past couple weeks, UConn slid from +900 to +1100 and is now +1500 to win the title, eighth at BetMGM.
Houston (22-2) moved from +1100 to the +750 fourth choice between Feb. 4 and Feb. 11. The Cougars are 16-1 in their last 17 games, with the lone loss a respectable 69-65 home defeat to Texas Tech.
UConn and Houston recently book big wagers in NCAA Tournament futures odds at BetMGM. The Huskies drew a $25,000 bet at +900, to win $225,000, and the Cougars landed a $25,000 bet at +1100, to win $275,000.

Flying Under the Radar
LATEST UPDATE: As February settles in, Ranftle pointed out four teams getting recent attention.
"Right now, people are looking to hit a home run on longer shots. So there’s been interest on St. Louis, Texas Tech, North Carolina and St. John's," he said.
Texas Tech (17-6) is the shortest of those four teams, at +3500 in BetMGM's NCAA Tournament odds. North Carolina (19-5) and St. John's (19-5) are both +6600.
St. Louis (23-1) leads the Atlantic 10 and is got some flier action at +20000 (200/1) in March Madness futures odds. The Billikens are now +10000 (100/1) at BetMGM.
Michigan State (20-4) was perhaps a little under the radar in early December, despite winning its first eight games. But a recent 11-1 stretch led to a boost in Spartans action at BetMGM.
Tom Izzo's squad got as short as +2500 in BetMGM's March Madness odds. However, Sparty then lost two in a row and is now +4000.
"Michigan State is now also a loser. The Spartans always draw bets when they’re playing well," Ranftle said.
